tigeropen-typescriptReference skill for the Tiger Brokers OpenAPI TypeScript SDK: setup, market data, trading, account queries, options and real-time push subscriptions.
This skill equips an agent to write TypeScript or Node.js code against the Tiger Brokers OpenAPI SDK, installed from npm as @tigeropenapi/tigeropen. It needs Node.js 16 or newer and works with ESM and CommonJS. A quick start shows creating a client config and an HTTP client, and six reference files cover quickstart and error handling, market data, trading, real-time push, account management and options.
Market data covers quotes, K-lines, depth, options and futures. Trading covers placing, modifying and cancelling orders and reading positions and assets, and the account guide adds fund transfers, deposits and withdrawals. Push subscriptions run over WebSocket for quotes, orders and positions. A safety warning says trading involves real money, so generated trading code defaults to a paper trading account and the agent must confirm order details before any live order. A short table of common Hong Kong and US ticker symbols is included, and replies follow the user's language.

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

Tiger Brokers TypeScript SDK loads about 939 tokens when it runs, and up to ~13k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 156 tokens; SKILL.md has 215 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Our summary lists: Node.js 16 or newer; The @tigeropenapi/tigeropen package; A Tiger Brokers developer account and API credentials. Compatibility (from SKILL.md): Requires Node.js 16+, supports ESM and CommonJS.
SKILL.md names 1 domain. As links in the text: docs.itigerup.com. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Tiger Brokers TypeScript SDK is published under the MIT licence (declared in SKILL.md). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 939 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3.8k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 12k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
