What it does
For a request to deconstruct, compare or learn from a long novel, the agent first stores the source as traceable material when it arrives as a file, PDF, URL or upload. It then analyzes story mechanisms such as reader promise, conflict escalation, character motivation, information release, emotional payoff and volume rhythm, keeps pointers back to the source, and separates what it observed from what it inferred.
Style analysis covers narrative distance, tone, dialogue behavior, scene detail, transitions, sentence and paragraph rhythm and diction, with every major claim tied to a short example. The agent extracts reusable craft and leaves out names, exact wording and scene order. It binds a source to the active book only when you ask, treats that binding as guidance and never as canon, and loads a longer reference file only for a full decomposition or comparison. Replies match your language.

- If the user explicitly wants the active book to consult this source later, call
manage_book_reference(action="bind")with the user's natural-language purposes. Binding is guidance, never canon. - If the user only asks a question, answer it; do not start writing or editing a book.
- Respond in the user's language.
