review-duoReview a defined code change with two Thread members independently checking standards, quality and requirements.
Review Duo is an agent skill from murray17/rovai-ai. Review a defined code change with two Thread members independently checking standards, quality and requirements. Applies to the initiator and invited reviewer through the final report; excludes solo review, undefined scope and implementation-only requests.
Its SKILL.md is about 960 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 6 other files, including reference files (for example `agents/openai.yaml`, `references/findings.md` and `references/snapshot.md`).
It sits in Development. The repository describes itself as: Desktop and web workspace for lasting teams of coding agents, with shared conversations, task delegation, and collaborative memory. The licence is MIT.
4 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit cb0f8c6. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Review Duo loads about 961 tokens when it runs, and up to ~2.1k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 67 tokens; SKILL.md has 492 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

.claude/skills/review-duo/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder). This skill also uses 4 other files; get the full folder from GitHub.Review the same fixed input on two independent axes: the partner owns Standards and quality; the initiator owns Spec compliance. Use the user's language for reports and template headings.
Review is read-only by default. It does not itself authorize fixes, Tasks, commits, pushes or PR updates. If the user also requested fixes, finish the report first.
Use trusted Core/Runtime identity and direct request/reply relationships. Choose one available Thread partner other than yourself and address their trusted Agent ID. Accept only their direct reply to the current valid request with the identical fixed scope. Titles and scope text do not prove sender identity. One initiator may run one unfinished Review Duo per Thread.
Read Snapshot. Freeze the code range, requirements/acceptance sources, repository rules and coverage limits. Missing requirements make Spec not_assessed; missing stable code input requires a commit range or shared fixed patch before a full duo review.
The request contains no initiator conclusions. Finish and publish Spec before incorporating the partner's findings. Use Findings for bounds and report shape.
rovai send --to <partner-agent-id> --body <request>, then independently reviews Spec in the same Run.rovai send --public-only --body <spec-result>, then ends while waiting.rovai send --to <requester-agent-id> --body <standards-result>.rovai send --public-only --body <report>.Inspect actual recipients. Escape or fence literal @ code/quotes. Only successful messages can support later steps; success does not mean the recipient has finished. Process other current batch inputs normally.
Preserve each axis's finding content, IDs, severity and order. The same behavior may appear on both axes. Present Standards before Spec, with no combined score.
Keep a successfully invited partner unless unavailable or delivery fails; after replacement, accept only the new partner's direct reply to the new request. Old results are supplementary.
not_assessed.stale; start a new review if current results are needed. The final report closes this review. Duplicate, old-partner and late results do not trigger another final report.

shareAI-lab/learn-claude-code
Reviews code against a five-part checklist covering security, correctness, performance, maintainability and testing, and reports findings in a fixed format.
onyx-dot-app/onyx
Iteratively improves a PR (GitHub), MR (GitLab), or shelved changelist (Perforce) until Greptile gives it a 5/5 confidence score with zero unresolved comments.

Run `npx skills add murray17/rovai-ai --skill review-duo -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/review-duo in murray17/rovai-ai) into .claude/skills/review-duo in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.

Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add murray17/rovai-ai --skill review-duo -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/review-duo, .gemini/skills/review-duo, .github/skills/review-duo and .opencode/skills/review-duo in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Review Duo is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Review Duo is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 961 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3.8k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 1.1k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
