CLI Operations is an agent skill from murray17/rovai-ai. Choose among Rovai messages, Tasks, Missions, history and Memory; coordinate parallel member requests, multi-step operations or recovery. For one known operation, use its command help directly.
Its SKILL.md is about 660 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 10 other files, including reference files (for example `agents/openai.yaml`, `references/camp-history.md` and `references/memory.md`).
It sits in Development. The repository describes itself as: Desktop and web workspace for lasting teams of coding agents, with shared conversations, task delegation, and collaborative memory. The licence is MIT.
4 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit ed90fa9. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
CLI Operations loads about 664 tokens when it runs, and up to ~2.8k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 52 tokens; SKILL.md has 297 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

| Need | Operation family |
|---|---|
| Public answer, progress, question or one-time collaboration | ThreadMessage |
| Shared objective or whole-Mission status | Mission |
| Member identity, profile images or a requested profile edit | Member |
| Default Lead requests independent work from several members | One ThreadMessage with repeated --to; replies return separately |
| Responsibility that survives Runs and can be handed off and accepted independently | Task |
| Thread or message evidence | Thread/History |
| Who is running, queued or waiting | Thread execution query |
| Durable collaboration preference, agreement or lesson | Memory governance |
Choose the smallest object that fully serves the request. Tasks own durable responsibilities; project sources and history own their facts.
member get supplies the current Profile version and image paths; member update changes the global Profile. Send only the fields the User asked to change. For a newly created member, use the agentId returned by member create, even before it joins this Thread. Use member-studio for creation proposals and confirmation, not edits to an existing Profile.
A successful operation proves its own commit, not downstream execution, validation or completion of the user's objective.

CLI Operations fits situations like: development work in your project.
Run `npx skills add murray17/rovai-ai --skill cli-operations -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/cli-operations in murray17/rovai-ai) into .claude/skills/cli-operations in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.

Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add murray17/rovai-ai --skill cli-operations -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/cli-operations, .gemini/skills/cli-operations, .github/skills/cli-operations and .opencode/skills/cli-operations in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: CLI Operations is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
CLI Operations is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 664 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 2.7k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 2.1k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
