mnemonPersistent memory for MiniMax Code. An agent skill from mnemon-dev/mnemon.
Mnemon is an agent skill from mnemon-dev/mnemon. Persistent memory for MiniMax Code. Recall durable context, store important facts and decisions, and link related memories with the mnemon CLI.
Its SKILL.md is about 780 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.
It sits in Agent Workflows, covering Agent memory. It works with MiniMax. The repository describes itself as: LLM-supervised persistent memory for AI agents — graph-based recall, cross-session knowledge, single binary. Works with DeepSeek Harness, Claude Code, OpenClaw, and any agent… The licence is Apache-2.0.
3 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 55ecd3e. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are bash).
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Mnemon loads about 776 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 38 tokens; SKILL.md has 310 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

.claude/skills/mnemon/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder).Use mnemon through MiniMax Code's shell tools when durable context would improve the task.
Recall before work when prior preferences, decisions, constraints, or project history could change the answer:
mnemon recall "<focused query>" --limit 10Remember only durable, non-secret information after it becomes clear:
mnemon remember "<fact>" --cat <preference|decision|insight|fact|context> --imp <1-5> --entities "e1,e2" --source agentReview causal_candidates and semantic_candidates returned by remember. Link only relationships that are genuinely useful:
mnemon link <id> <candidate> --type <causal|semantic> --weight <0-1>The optional behavioral guide is stored at ${MNEMON_DATA_DIR:-$HOME/.mnemon}/prompt/guide.md. Read it when memory judgment is relevant; do not inject it into unrelated work.
Keep focused queries and memories in their original language. When the user's
meaning is clear, choose --intent WHY (reasons), --intent WHEN (timing),
--intent ENTITY (what/who), or --intent GENERAL (neutral retrieval).
For example: mnemon recall "<query>" --intent WHY. The override works in any
language; --verbose reports
meta.intent and meta.intent_source (auto or override).
Automatic cues cover some forms in English, Mandarin Chinese (simplified and traditional), Hindi (Devanagari), Spanish, Modern Standard Arabic, French, Bengali (Bengali script), Portuguese, Indonesian (Latin script), Russian (Cyrillic), and German. Unrecognized forms use GENERAL; conflicting cues involving additional languages also use GENERAL. English/Chinese-only scoring is preserved. This is a lexical heuristic, not full language understanding. See the supported forms, script variants, and limits.
mnemon search "<query>" --limit 10
mnemon related <id> --edge causal
mnemon forget <id>
mnemon status
mnemon log
mnemon store listWhen the user asks to import chats, notes, or exported context, create a memory_draft.json with schema_version: "1", insights, and optional edges. Validate it first with mnemon import --dry-run <file>, import only after validation passes, then verify with mnemon status and a focused recall. Check the output errors field because imports can partially succeed.
causal_signal and similarity scores are candidates, not proof; use judgment before linking.© mnemon-dev, Apache-2.0. Rendered from Markdown: HTML in the file is shown as text, images as links, and headings moved down two levels. Raw file

Persistent memory for MiniMax Code. An agent skill from mnemon-dev/mnemon. Mnemon is an agent skill from mnemon-dev/mnemon. Persistent memory for MiniMax Code.
Mnemon fits situations like: tasks that involve Agent memory.
Run `npx skills add mnemon-dev/mnemon --skill mnemon -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (internal/memory/setup/assets/minimax in mnemon-dev/mnemon) into .claude/skills/mnemon in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add mnemon-dev/mnemon --skill mnemon -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (internal/memory/setup/assets/minimax in mnemon-dev/mnemon) into .agents/skills/mnemon in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add mnemon-dev/mnemon --skill mnemon -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/mnemon, .gemini/skills/mnemon, .github/skills/mnemon and .opencode/skills/mnemon in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Mnemon is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Mnemon is published under the Apache-2.0 licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 776 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3.1k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
