whizard-loggingInstalls and configures WizTelemetry Logging for KubeSphere, with container log and optional disk log collection, dependency checks and the log query API.
This skill covers WizTelemetry Logging, the KubeSphere observability extension for log collection, processing and storage. It has two components. `vector-logging` gathers container stdout and stderr from Docker or Containerd and is enabled by default, while `logsidecar-injector` collects logs from files inside containers and is off by default. The WizTelemetry Platform Service, the Data Pipeline and OpenSearch are all required dependencies.
The install flow starts by listing clusters and confirming the target with you when you have not named one, then looks up the latest version of the extension. The resulting InstallPlan must be called `whizard-logging`, and its YAML `config` has to follow the supplied template without extra fields or structural changes. The skill also covers the log query API. The text available here stops partway through the install rules.
2 steps, taken from the step headings in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 04a29b5. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
kubectlcurlFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
Hosts in commands or code, which the agent is likely to contact:
whizard-telemetry-apiserver.extension-whizard-telemetry.svcFrom URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
KubeSphere WizTelemetry Logging loads about 2.3k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 35 tokens; SKILL.md has 662 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 662 words (~2,288 tokens).

Installs and configures WizTelemetry Logging for KubeSphere, with container log and optional disk log collection, dependency checks and the log query API. This skill covers WizTelemetry Logging, the KubeSphere observability extension for log collection, processing and storage. It has two components.
KubeSphere WizTelemetry Logging fits situations like: installing log collection for KubeSphere clusters; deciding whether to enable disk log collection for logs written to files; querying collected logs through the log query API.
Run `npx skills add kubesphere/kubesphere --skill whizard-logging -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/whizard-logging in kubesphere/kubesphere) into .claude/skills/whizard-logging in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add kubesphere/kubesphere --skill whizard-logging -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/whizard-logging in kubesphere/kubesphere) into .agents/skills/whizard-logging in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add kubesphere/kubesphere --skill whizard-logging -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/whizard-logging, .gemini/skills/whizard-logging, .github/skills/whizard-logging and .opencode/skills/whizard-logging in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, KubeSphere WizTelemetry Logging needs the command-line tools its instructions call (kubectl and curl). Our summary lists: The Platform Service, Data Pipeline and OpenSearch extensions installed first; kubectl access to a KubeSphere cluster.
SKILL.md names 1 domain. In commands or code: whizard-telemetry-apiserver.extension-whizard-telemetry.svc; the agent is likely to contact it when it follows the instructions. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
KubeSphere WizTelemetry Logging has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 2.3k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 9.2k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
