kubesphere-devops-pipelineCreates, triggers and monitors CI/CD pipelines in KubeSphere DevOps through its Kubernetes resources, checking pipeline parameters before every run.
In KubeSphere DevOps a pipeline is a Kubernetes custom resource tied to Jenkins, and this skill teaches the agent how the two sides line up: a DevOpsProject corresponds to a Jenkins folder, a Pipeline to a WorkflowJob and a PipelineRun to a build run. Kubernetes resources are treated as the source of truth.
The preferred way to start a run is to create a PipelineRun resource and apply it with kubectl, then watch its status phase, conditions and start and completion times. The skill insists that the agent first look up any parameters the pipeline defines, from the branch endpoint for multi-branch pipelines or from the Jenkinsfile for regular ones, because a run without required parameters fails or falls back to wrong defaults.
11 steps, taken from the step headings in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 04a29b5. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
curlkubectljqgitFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
Hosts in commands or code, which the agent is likely to contact:
github.comAlso links to:
jenkins.ioFrom URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names these keys or tokens, usually read from environment variables:
API_TOKENFrom names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
KubeSphere DevOps Pipelines loads about 11k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 39 tokens; SKILL.md has 1,905 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 1,905 words (~11,192 tokens).
“Pipelines in KubeSphere DevOps are Kubernetes custom resources that integrate with Jenkins. KubeSphere uses a cloud-native, object-reconcile approach where Kubernetes resources are the source of truth.”

Creates, triggers and monitors CI/CD pipelines in KubeSphere DevOps through its Kubernetes resources, checking pipeline parameters before every run.
KubeSphere DevOps Pipelines fits situations like: creating or updating a CI/CD pipeline in a KubeSphere DevOps project; triggering a pipeline run, including multi-branch pipelines that take parameters; watching a run's progress and pulling its logs and artifacts; troubleshooting a pipeline run that failed.
Run `npx skills add kubesphere/kubesphere --skill kubesphere-devops-pipeline -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/kubesphere-devops-pipeline in kubesphere/kubesphere) into .claude/skills/kubesphere-devops-pipeline in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add kubesphere/kubesphere --skill kubesphere-devops-pipeline -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/kubesphere-devops-pipeline in kubesphere/kubesphere) into .agents/skills/kubesphere-devops-pipeline in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add kubesphere/kubesphere --skill kubesphere-devops-pipeline -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/kubesphere-devops-pipeline, .gemini/skills/kubesphere-devops-pipeline, .github/skills/kubesphere-devops-pipeline and .opencode/skills/kubesphere-devops-pipeline in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, KubeSphere DevOps Pipelines needs the command-line tools its instructions call (curl, kubectl, jq and git) and credentials named API_TOKEN. Our summary lists: kubectl access to a KubeSphere cluster with DevOps installed.
SKILL.md names 2 domains. In commands or code: github.com; the agent is likely to contact it when it follows the instructions. As links in the text: jenkins.io. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
KubeSphere DevOps Pipelines has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 11k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 45k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
