google-adsManages Google Ads accounts with Python scripts for the Google Ads API, backed by an intent-first B2B strategy knowledge base.
This skill pairs a Google Ads strategy library with Python scripts that talk to the Google Ads API. The knowledge-base folder holds notes on account structure, bidding, keyword and match types, search terms and negatives, responsive search ads and landing pages, Performance Max for B2B, and benchmarks. The method is intent-first: start with high-intent keywords, prove the unit economics, then widen out to lower-intent and awareness traffic.
The scripts folder covers both reading and writing: an account overview with period comparison, campaign and keyword performance, listings of campaigns and ads, a search terms audit, and creating or updating campaigns, ad groups, responsive search ads and keywords, including negatives. Several of these change a live account through the API. Credentials live in scripts/.env, and api-reference.md explains the setup.
2 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 558c4db. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Ships 8 files in scripts/ (Python, from the files we listed), which the agent can run.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:

No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

Google Ads Management loads about 2.1k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 112 tokens; SKILL.md has 879 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check noted patterns worth knowing about, such as sudo or a known installer.
es:** Credentials configured in `scripts/.env`. See `api-reference.md` for setup.Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); the scripts in this folder are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 879 words (~2,138 tokens).
“Orchestrator for all Google Ads tasks. Combines strategic knowledge with programmatic API access for full campaign management.”

Google Ads Management fits situations like: auditing a Google Ads account's performance over the last 30 days; reviewing search terms to find wasted spend and negative keywords; creating a search campaign, ad group and responsive search ad from the command line; planning keyword structure and bidding for a B2B demand generation account.
Run `npx skills add ivangfalco/ads-skills --skill google-ads -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (.claude/skills/google-ads in ivangfalco/ads-skills) into .claude/skills/google-ads in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add ivangfalco/ads-skills --skill google-ads -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (.claude/skills/google-ads in ivangfalco/ads-skills) into .agents/skills/google-ads in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add ivangfalco/ads-skills --skill google-ads -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/google-ads, .gemini/skills/google-ads, .github/skills/google-ads and .opencode/skills/google-ads in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Google Ads Management needs Python for the scripts in its folder and the command-line tools its instructions call (python). Our summary lists: Python to run the scripts in scripts/; Google Ads API credentials configured in scripts/.env.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found notes only (mentions a .env file), nothing it rates as a warning. It is not a guarantee. The check reads SKILL.md only: the scripts in the folder are not scanned, so read them before running anything.
Google Ads Management has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 2.1k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 8.6k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
