web3-dataQueries on-chain data with the Chainbase CLI and tracks crypto social trends: token holders and prices, wallet balances, ENS names, narratives and KOL signals.
Two services share the skill. The first uses the Chainbase CLI for blocks, transactions, token metadata, prices and price history, holders and transfers, native and ERC20 balances, DeFi portfolios and ENS or Space ID lookups. A routing table maps each request to a command, and flags select JSON output and a chain, with Ethereum as the default.
The second service, Tops, covers trending crypto narratives, social mentions, discussion on X, topic heat and community signals, with details in a Tops API reference. Setup means installing chainbase-cli with npm or running it with npx and supplying an API key through config or the CHAINBASE_API_KEY variable. A demo key is the fallback, and an optional x402 flag enables pay-per-call payments.

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit fa89195. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

Web3 Data Explorer loads about 2k tokens when it runs, and up to ~4.9k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 230 tokens; SKILL.md has 716 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add internet-court/internet-court-skill --skill web3-data -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/web3-data, .gemini/skills/web3-data, .github/skills/web3-data and .opencode/skills/web3-data in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Web3 Data Explorer needs the command-line tools its instructions call (npm and npx) and credentials named CHAINBASE_API_KEY. Our summary lists: Node.js with npm or npx, to run chainbase-cli; A Chainbase API key (a demo key is the fallback).
SKILL.md names 4 domains. In commands or code: api.chainbase.com; the agent is likely to contact it when it follows the instructions. As links in the text: github.com, platform.chainbase.com and tops.chainbase.com. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Web3 Data Explorer is published under the MIT licence (from the LICENSE file in the skill folder). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 2k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 8.1k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 2.9k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
