cli-anything-kritaDrives Krita from the command line to create projects, add layers, apply filters, resize the canvas and export images, with JSON output for agents.
This skill documents the cli-anything-krita command, installed with pip from the krita/agent-harness folder. Command groups cover projects (new with name, width and height, open, save, info), layers (add paint, group, vector, filter, fill, clone and file layers, with opacity) and filters such as blur, sharpen, levels, curves, hue-saturation, posterize and threshold. Canvas commands resize and report info, and export renders to presets including png, jpeg, tiff, psd, pdf, svg, webp, gif and bmp.
A session group provides undo, redo and history, and a status command reports the current state. Every command takes a json flag that returns machine-readable output, which suits agent use, and an example workflow starts with creating an illustration project. It needs Krita installed on the system and Python 3.10 or newer.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 34f5195. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
pipFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md. Its commands use pip, which can reach the network depending on how they are called.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Krita CLI Harness loads about 931 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 55 tokens; SKILL.md has 83 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Krita CLI Harness fits situations like: automating Krita image work without opening the GUI; batch applying filters to layers and exporting to several formats; creating a layered Krita project from a script or agent; reading project and layer information as JSON for later steps.
Run `npx skills add HKUDS/CLI-Anything --skill cli-anything-krita -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/cli-anything-krita in HKUDS/CLI-Anything) into .claude/skills/cli-anything-krita in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.

Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Krita CLI Harness needs the command-line tools its instructions call (pip). Our summary lists: Krita installed on the system; Python 3.10 or newer.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Its commands use pip, which can reach the network depending on how they are called. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Krita CLI Harness is published under the Apache-2.0 licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 931 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3.7k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
