agtx-executeCarries out an approved plan for an agtx-managed task: implements the changes, runs tests, commits, writes a summary to .agtx/execute.md and then stops.
The skill covers the execution phase of a task managed by agtx. It reads the approved plan from .agtx/plan.md when that file exists, and otherwise fetches the task description through the agtx MCP get_task call using the task ID given as the argument. It then implements the changes, runs the relevant tests, fixes what they reveal, and commits all work with a short imperative message, checking that git status is clean because the worktree is deleted when the task completes.
When the work is done it writes .agtx/execute.md with a Changes section listing the files touched and what changed, and a Testing section describing how the work was verified. After that it stops: no new work beyond the plan, a fixed completion message, then it waits for instructions. Status updates are kept terse, one line each.

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 8ae6868. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

agtx Execute Phase loads about 439 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 32 tokens; SKILL.md has 222 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

The argument to this command is a task ID.
If .agtx/plan.md exists in the current working directory, read it — it already contains the approved plan and all needed context. Do NOT call get_task.
If .agtx/plan.md does not exist, fetch the task description:
mcp__agtx__get_task(task_id: "<the id passed to this command>").agtx/plan.md if it exists (skip get_task), otherwise fetch via get_taskgit add -A, commit with a short imperative message, verify git status --short clean. Your worktree is deleted at task completion — uncommitted work is destroyed and the merge is blocked. agtx's own files are already git-excluded, so add -A takes only your work. When implementation is complete, write a summary to .agtx/execute.md in the current working directory with these sections:
What files were modified/created and what was changed in each.
How you verified the changes — tests run, results, manual checks.
After writing .agtx/execute.md (in the current working directory):
.agtx/execute.md."Terse. No pleasantries. Fragments OK. Short synonyms. Code exact. Status updates: one line. Pattern: [what] [why]. Done.

Runs a spec-driven workflow from PRD to epic to GitHub issues to parallel agents, with status, standup and blocked-work reports from bundled scripts.
fynnfluegge/agtx
Runs a whole project unattended on an agtx kanban board, decomposing the goal, starting tasks, unblocking workers and merging each result.
fynnfluegge/agtx
Breaks a conversation's results into feature-level tasks and pushes them to the agtx kanban board, where each task gets its own worktree and agent session.
fynnfluegge/agtx
Analyzes the codebase for an agtx task, writes a plan with analysis, steps and risks to .agtx/plan.md, then stops and waits for approval before any change.

Explore the codebase to understand a task before planning. An agent skill from fynnfluegge/agtx.
fynnfluegge/agtx
Puts the agent in a discussion-only mode for exploring a feature idea, asking questions and probing trade-offs without planning or writing code.
fynnfluegge/agtx
Self-reviews completed work in an agtx-managed task for correctness, edge cases and code quality, fixes issues, commits and writes .agtx/review.md with a status.

Run `npx skills add fynnfluegge/agtx --skill agtx-execute -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (plugins/agtx-terse/skills/agtx-execute in fynnfluegge/agtx) into .claude/skills/agtx-execute in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.

Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add fynnfluegge/agtx --skill agtx-execute -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/agtx-execute, .gemini/skills/agtx-execute, .github/skills/agtx-execute and .opencode/skills/agtx-execute in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, agtx Execute Phase needs the command-line tools its instructions call (git). Our summary lists: An agtx-managed task with .agtx/plan.md or access to the agtx MCP server; Git.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Its commands use git, which can reach the network depending on how they are called. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
agtx Execute Phase is published under the Apache-2.0 licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 439 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 1.8k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
