stripe-payHelps users send funds to another Stripe business, transfer money to a Stripe Profile handle or network ID, or ask whether an agent can pay a Stripe business.
Stripe Pay is an agent skill from fossasia/eventyay. Helps users send funds to another Stripe business, transfer money to a Stripe Profile handle or network ID, or ask whether an agent can pay a Stripe business. Use Stripe Directory to find or verify a recipient when the user doesn't provide an exact Stripe Profile handle or network ID.
Its SKILL.md is about 1.1k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.
It sits in Backend & APIs. It works with Stripe. The repository describes itself as: Open Source Event Management, Ticketing and Checkins, Talks and Schedules, Video and Interpretations, Badges, Exhibitions and more https://eventyay.com. The licence is Apache-2.0.
6 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit b539d59. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves these tools, so the agent can use them without asking each time:
Bash(stripe directory *)Bash(stripe pay *)Bash(stripe whoami *)From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
stripeFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
Links to these hosts (documentation or services it may open):
docs.stripe.comdashboard.stripe.comFrom URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Stripe Pay loads about 1.1k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 74 tokens; SKILL.md has 512 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from fossasia/eventyay at commit b539d59, republished under its Apache-2.0 licence (© fossasia). 512 words, ~1,106 tokens.
.claude/skills/stripe-pay/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder).stripe payUse stripe pay to send money from the authenticated Stripe business to another Stripe business identified by a Stripe Profile handle, for example @recipient.
The stripe pay command is for business-to-business money transfers. Both the sender and the receiving business must have a Stripe Profile. In addition:
If the user needs details about financial accounts, read Money Management. The command resolves the recipient’s payout configuration, which can route the payout to an attached financial account or linked bank account, and reports the fee and delivery timing before confirmation. Don’t assume that a transfer is free or instant.
stripe pay ... command you plan to run and get confirmation.--agent or --json first so the user can review the transfer details.-y or --yes until after the user confirms the reviewed transfer.Read the documentation to accomplish your goal. You must read the relevant page before taking action:
| Goal | Documentation |

| Find or verify a recipient when the user doesn’t provide an exact Stripe Profile handle or network ID | Use Stripe Directory with AI agents |
| Review, send, handle approval, resume, or dry-run a transfer | stripe pay CLI reference |
| Create or manage a Stripe Profile, including a recipient’s transfer destination | Stripe Profile |
| Set up or understand an eligible financial account | Money Management |
Don’t continue the transfer when stripe pay reports missing setup. Explain what’s missing and give the user the corresponding next step. Before explaining how to resolve the error, read the documentation for the missing requirement in the workflow table:

Stripe Pay is an agent skill from fossasia/eventyay. Stripe Pay fits situations like: doesnt provide an exact Stripe Profile handle.
Run `npx skills add fossasia/eventyay --skill stripe-pay -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (.agents/skills/stripe-pay in fossasia/eventyay) into .claude/skills/stripe-pay in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add fossasia/eventyay --skill stripe-pay -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (.agents/skills/stripe-pay in fossasia/eventyay) into .agents/skills/stripe-pay in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add fossasia/eventyay --skill stripe-pay -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/stripe-pay, .gemini/skills/stripe-pay, .github/skills/stripe-pay and .opencode/skills/stripe-pay in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Stripe Pay needs the command-line tools its instructions call (stripe). Its frontmatter pre-approves these tools: Bash(stripe directory *), Bash(stripe pay *), Bash(stripe whoami *).
SKILL.md names 2 domains. As links in the text: docs.stripe.com and dashboard.stripe.com. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Stripe Pay is published under the Apache-2.0 licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 1.1k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 4.4k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
