genmedia-workflowPlans and runs multi-step media pipelines with the genmedia CLI, chaining generation, editing, audio and subtitle steps with checks and delivery manifests.
This skill is for jobs where one model call is not enough. A workflow is a planned chain of genmedia calls with clear inputs, outputs, dependencies and quality checks, covering generation, editing, image and video utilities, audio, subtitles, batching and a final delivery manifest. All calls run through the genmedia CLI, which is set up once with `genmedia init`.
The agent first asks only for missing details that change the pipeline: the final deliverable, source assets such as product images, character references, audio or a brand guide, limits on quality, cost, variants, duration and aspect ratio, and continuity needs such as product identity or a character's face. It then sketches a short pipeline graph, picks an endpoint for each role, checks each endpoint's schema and pricing before use, and uploads local files once to reuse the returned URLs. Reference files cover pipeline patterns, node rules, utility endpoints and recipes.

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 9ca8504. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

Genmedia Media Workflows loads about 1.3k tokens when it runs, and up to ~4.6k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 57 tokens; SKILL.md has 461 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Without a licence we can't republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 461 words (~1,348 tokens).

Run `npx skills add fal-ai-community/skills --skill genmedia-workflow -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/genmedia-workflow in fal-ai-community/skills) into .claude/skills/genmedia-workflow in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add fal-ai-community/skills --skill genmedia-workflow -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/genmedia-workflow in fal-ai-community/skills) into .agents/skills/genmedia-workflow in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add fal-ai-community/skills --skill genmedia-workflow -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/genmedia-workflow, .gemini/skills/genmedia-workflow, .github/skills/genmedia-workflow and .opencode/skills/genmedia-workflow in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Genmedia Media Workflows is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: The genmedia CLI, initialized once with `genmedia init`.
SKILL.md names 1 domain. As links in the text: github.com. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
No licence was found for Genmedia Media Workflows or its repository. Without one, default copyright applies: ask the author before reusing or redistributing it.
About 1.3k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 5.4k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 3.2k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
