cinematographyWrites concrete cinematic prompts for image and video generation through the genmedia CLI, covering framing, camera moves, lens, lighting and color.
The agent collects only the details that change a shot: subject and action, the medium (still, video, image-to-video, edit or storyboard frame), genre and mood, framing, camera motion, lens feel, lighting and output settings such as aspect ratio and duration. It avoids empty prestige words and builds prompts in a fixed order called SCLCAM, starting with subject, context, and lens and framing.
In the genmedia workflow it looks up endpoints with genmedia models, inspects each endpoint's schema and pricing, uploads reference frames for image-to-video or first and last frames, then runs stills with direct download and video asynchronously. Three reference files cover shot language, lighting, lens and color, and examples, and a separate model-routing skill is loaded for default endpoint choices.
5 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 9ca8504. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are bash).
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

Cinematography Prompts for Genmedia loads about 1.2k tokens when it runs, and up to ~2.6k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 55 tokens; SKILL.md has 415 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Without a licence we can't republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 415 words (~1,232 tokens).

Cinematography Prompts for Genmedia fits situations like: writing a video prompt with specific camera movement and lighting; directing a still image with deliberate lens, framing and color choices; planning storyboard frames or first and last frames for image-to-video.
Run `npx skills add fal-ai-community/skills --skill cinematography -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/cinematography in fal-ai-community/skills) into .claude/skills/cinematography in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add fal-ai-community/skills --skill cinematography -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/cinematography in fal-ai-community/skills) into .agents/skills/cinematography in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add fal-ai-community/skills --skill cinematography -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/cinematography, .gemini/skills/cinematography, .github/skills/cinematography and .opencode/skills/cinematography in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Cinematography Prompts for Genmedia is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: The genmedia CLI with access to the model endpoints.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
No licence was found for Cinematography Prompts for Genmedia or its repository. Without one, default copyright applies: ask the author before reusing or redistributing it.
About 1.2k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 4.9k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 1.4k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
