career-ops-plugin-gmailPulls job leads from a Gmail label into the career-ops pipeline, extracting job URLs from DMARC-passing emails and de-duplicating against existing leads.
The plugin reads a configured Gmail label, extracts clean job URLs only from emails that pass DMARC authentication, and returns them as leads for the career-ops engine, which de-duplicates against the pipeline and appends new ones. It runs with the command node plugins.mjs run gmail to ingest new leads from the configured label.
Setup requires OAuth Desktop client credentials and a refresh token placed in .env as GMAIL_CLIENT_ID, GMAIL_CLIENT_SECRET and GMAIL_REFRESH_TOKEN, plus a label name and lookback window set in config/plugins.yml, for example a label called Job Leads looked back seven days. Output is an array of jobs with title, URL, company and location, and the plugin keeps its own processed-message cursor in data/gmail-state.json so it never re-reads the same emails.

Career-Ops Gmail Lead Plugin loads about 233 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 24 tokens; SKILL.md has 94 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check noted patterns worth knowing about, such as sudo or a known installer.

Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Career-Ops Gmail Lead Plugin needs JavaScript for the scripts in its folder, the command-line tools its instructions call (node) and credentials named GMAIL_CLIENT_SECRET and GMAIL_REFRESH_TOKEN. Our summary lists: A Gmail OAuth Desktop client ID, secret and refresh token; Node.js to run plugins.mjs.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found notes only (mentions a .env file), nothing it rates as a warning. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Career-Ops Gmail Lead Plugin is published under the MIT licence (declared in SKILL.md). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 233 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 932 characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
