Uai Camera Ready is an agent skill from brycewang-stanford/Awesome-Journal-Skills. Use when converting an accepted UAI paper into its PMLR proceedings version, covering de-anonymization, final formatting against the UAI template, metadata for the PMLR volume, restoring public code and data links, poster and spotlight preparation for the conference, and sequencing work back from the camera-ready deadline.
Its SKILL.md is about 1.7k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.
The repository describes itself as: Journal-specific Claude Code/Codex skill packs covering mainstream journals — AER, QJE, Nature, Cell, 管理世界, 经济研究 & 200+ more — your fast track to getting published. | 覆盖主流期刊的… The licence is MIT.
6 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 932eb23. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are bibtex).
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Uai Camera Ready loads about 1.7k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 85 tokens; SKILL.md has 805 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from brycewang-stanford/Awesome-Journal-Skills at commit 932eb23, republished under its MIT licence (© brycewang-stanford). 805 words, ~1,727 tokens.
.claude/skills/uai-camera-ready/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder).Use this after the acceptance email. In the 2026 cycle, notification was June 1 and camera-ready files were due July 27, ahead of the August 17–21 conference in Amsterdam — roughly eight weeks that also contain registration, travel, and poster production. Reopen the current camera-ready instructions on the UAI site before starting; PMLR mechanics and page allowances are settled per cycle and were not fully published at pack-verification time (final-version page allowance: 待核实).
Accepted UAI papers are published as a volume of the Proceedings of Machine Learning Research. The series is open access with no author-side publication fee; the conference is funded by registration. Recent anchors, useful for citing prior UAI work correctly and for knowing what your own entry will look like: UAI 2021 = PMLR v161, 2022 = v180, 2023 = v216, 2024 = v244, 2025 = v286. The 2026 volume number is assigned by PMLR (待核实 until the volume page exists).

}Use this shape (verified against the PMLR v244 metadata) as the model for your own eventual entry and for citing UAI papers in the camera-ready bibliography.
Reverse every anonymity measure deliberately rather than by memory:
| Item | Failure it prevents |
|---|---|
| Current-cycle UAI template, final (non-anonymous) mode | Volume-wide formatting mismatch flagged by proceedings editors |
| Title/abstract identical across PDF, OpenReview, and PMLR forms | Broken indexing and citation splits |
| Every appendix referenced from the main text still resolves | Dangling "see App. D" after camera-ready edits |
| Figures regenerated from final code | Plot-vs-table divergence in the archival version |
| License and copyright forms as required this cycle | Publication held back on paperwork (exact forms: 待核实) |
| Repository tagged with a release matching the paper | "Code link rots by conference week" failure |
For 2026 the conference stated that all accepted papers are presented in poster sessions and spotlight presentations, physically or remotely, with selected papers receiving longer slots. Practical consequences:
PMLR entries are generated from structured metadata, so one inconsistency propagates to Google Scholar, DBLP, and every future citation. Sweep these pairs:
[Camera-ready state] not started / in edits / forms pending / uploaded
[Deadline distance] <days to current official camera-ready date>
[Commitment coverage] <review promises implemented / total>
[Public artifacts] repo tagged? data linked? license chosen?
[Presentation prep] poster / spotlight / long-talk status© brycewang-stanford, MIT. Rendered from Markdown: HTML in the file is shown as text, images as links, and headings moved down two levels. Raw file

SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Uai Camera Ready is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Uai Camera Ready is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 1.7k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 6.9k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
