Icra Submission is an agent skill from brycewang-stanford/Awesome-Journal-Skills. Use when auditing an ICRA paper for upload — PaperPlaza account and metadata, the 6-page-plus-2-reference-page limit, IEEE two-column template compliance, the double-anonymous rule introduced in the 2026 cycle, video-attachment specs (180 s, 20 MB), dual-submission conflicts with RA-L, and return-without-review triggers.
Its SKILL.md is about 1.7k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.
It sits in Documents & Office. The repository describes itself as: Journal-specific Claude Code/Codex skill packs covering mainstream journals — AER, QJE, Nature, Cell, 管理世界, 经济研究 & 200+ more — your fast track to getting published. | 覆盖主流期刊的… The licence is MIT.
6 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 932eb23. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Icra Submission loads about 1.7k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 85 tokens; SKILL.md has 784 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from brycewang-stanford/Awesome-Journal-Skills at commit 932eb23, republished under its MIT licence (© brycewang-stanford). 784 words, ~1,695 tokens.

(ras.papercept.net), the RAS submission system used across ICRA, IROS, and RA-L.
Everything here is anchored to the verified ICRA 2026 cycle; the numbers move, so
open the current year's "call for papers" page before trusting any of them.
| Check | 2026 rule | Consequence if violated |
|---|---|---|
| Page count at submission | 6 pages of content + up to 2 pages containing only references | Returned without review |
| Format | IEEE two-column conference template (RAS PaperPlaza support page templates), PDF only | Compliance failure at upload |
| Anonymity | Double-anonymous: no authors/affiliations in the PDF; full author list entered in PaperPlaza metadata | Administrative rejection |
| Video attachment | ≤ 180 seconds, ≤ 20 MB, one of mpeg/mp4/mpg | Rejected by the upload form |
| Video timing | Only inside the posted windows (2026: Aug 5–Sep 9 and Sep 17–22) | No video on record, no late path |
| Deadline | Sep 15, 2025, 23:59 Pacific (not AoE) | Closed portal |
The Pacific-time detail is a live trap: authors calibrated to AoE deadlines at ML conferences lose up to five hours.
Through ICRA 2025, review was single-blind — author names printed on page one. The 2026 cycle switched to double-anonymous. Concretely:
The same manuscript may not be simultaneously under review at ICRA and anywhere else — including RA-L, arXiv exempted (a preprint is allowed; check the current policy text for wording). The clean patterns:
Three PaperPlaza fields have consequences authors rarely anticipate:

SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Icra Submission is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 1.7k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 6.8k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
