Unity Xr is an agent skill from Besty0728/Unity-Skills. Set up XR Interaction Toolkit (XRI) for VR/AR
Its SKILL.md is about 2.5k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 1 other file (for example `API_REFERENCE.md`).
It sits in Game Development. The repository describes itself as: AI automation skills specifically designed for Unity. The licence is MIT.
4 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit ec8aa7c. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are python).
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Unity Xr loads about 2.5k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 14 tokens; SKILL.md has 917 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from Besty0728/Unity-Skills at commit ec8aa7c, republished under its MIT licence (© Besty0728). 917 words, ~2,495 tokens.
.claude/skills/unity-xr/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder). This skill also uses 1 other file; get the full folder from GitHub.Before calling any skill in this module: if you are about to call a skill with parameters guessed from its name or description, STOP — read this file (or fetch its schema via
GET /skills/recommend?includeSchema=true) first. If you already have the parameter definitions from recommend/schema, you may proceed straight to dryRun.
Use this module for XR Interaction Toolkit setup and configuration. All xr_* skills are reflection-based and support XRI 2.x on Unity 2022 and XRI 3.x on Unity 6+.
Requires:
com.unity.xr.interaction.toolkit. Hard rule: Read this file before the firstxr_*call in a session. Wrong property names can fail silently because the bridge is reflection-based.
Operating Mode (v1.9 three-tier):
xr_check_setup, xr_get_scene_report, xr_list_interactors, xr_list_interactables) run directly. Create/modify skills are FullAuto — on MODE_RESTRICTED, run the grant protocol; a successful /permission/grant executes the skill server-side and returns the result in the same response.RiskLevel="high" skills, so nothing is auto-classified as forbidden — every skill is reachable via grant.com.unity.xr.interaction.toolkit is missing, every xr_* skill returns the NoXRI() install instruction instead of executing.xr_configure_interactable / xr_configure_haptics is silently ignored; xr_configure_interaction_layers takes layer names or an integer mask and rejects undefined names. Load API_REFERENCE.md before issuing detailed property edits.DO NOT (common hallucinations):

Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add Besty0728/Unity-Skills --skill unity-xr -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/unity-xr, .gemini/skills/unity-xr, .github/skills/unity-xr and .opencode/skills/unity-xr in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Unity Xr is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: Python 3.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Unity Xr is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 2.5k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 10k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
