At a glance

Opens Plannotator on the agent's latest rendered reply so you can annotate it, then folds the returned feedback into a revision or the next step.

  • Works in 5 steps: Launch the command with Bash. → Wait for the annotation session to finish. → If feedback is returned, incorporate it… → …
  • Marking up the agent's last plan or answer visually
  • Instructions only: no scripts, shell commands, URLs or credentials in SKILL.md
  • Sending inline feedback on a response before continuing

What it does

Runs plannotator last through Bash, which launches an annotation session on the most recent rendered assistant message. The agent waits for the session to end and works any feedback into its follow-up. If the session closes with no feedback, it says so briefly and carries on.

Two details matter. The agent must not post a commentary or status message before running the command, because the command targets the latest rendered reply and a preamble could become the thing annotated. And an approval can still carry notes, which count as guidance for later work rather than a request to redo the message. The agent runs the command itself instead of asking you to type it.

When your agent uses it

  • Revising a message based on annotations

Example prompts

  • “Let me mark up that plan in Plannotator before you continue.”

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 1d9fe3f. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are bash).

From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

    No URLs in SKILL.md.

  • Credentials

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

Context cost

Plannotator Last Message loads about 279 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 36 tokens; SKILL.md has 137 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Plannotator Last

Use this skill when the user wants to annotate the latest assistant response in Plannotator.

Do not send a commentary/status message before running the command. The command targets the latest rendered assistant response, so a preamble can mistakenly become the thing being annotated.

Run:

bash
plannotator last

Behavior:

  1. Launch the command with Bash.
  2. Wait for the annotation session to finish.
  3. If feedback is returned, incorporate it into the follow-up response.
  4. If the session closes without feedback, mention that briefly and continue.
  5. An approval may still carry notes — a "decision": "approved" result with a "feedback" field. Read those notes and carry them into subsequent work, but do not redo the message over them: they are guidance, not a change request.

Run the command yourself rather than telling the user to invoke shell syntax manually.
