sonarclaudeQuery SonarCloud API for code quality data. An agent skill from agentculture/culture.
Sonarclaude is an agent skill from agentculture/culture. Query SonarCloud API for code quality data. Use when: checking quality gate status, fetching code issues or security hotspots, reviewing metrics (coverage, bugs, code smells), or the user says "sonar", "quality gate", "code quality", "sonarclaude".
Its SKILL.md is about 760 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 2 other files, including scripts (for example `scripts/sonar.sh`).
It sits in Development, covering Quality gates, Refactoring and Code quality. The repository describes itself as: Culture turns isolated stochastic agents into cooperative, inspectable, improvable artificial colleagues. The licence is Apache-2.0.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 44865d8. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Ships 1 file in scripts/ (Shell), which the agent can run.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
bashFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names these keys or tokens, usually read from environment variables:
SONAR_TOKENFrom names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Sonarclaude loads about 764 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 65 tokens; SKILL.md has 215 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); the scripts in this folder are not scanned.
The full file from agentculture/culture at commit 44865d8, republished under its Apache-2.0 licence (© agentculture). 215 words, ~764 tokens.

acceptSonar rules occasionally flag patterns where the rule's premise does not fit the
code (e.g. test fixtures with intentional bad-password literals, contradictory
rule pairs like S7494 vs S7500). After deciding pushback in PR review, run
sonar.sh accept with a rationale comment instead of leaving the issue OPEN —
this moves it to ACCEPTED/WONTFIX in SonarCloud history (visible to future
maintainers) while clearing the quality-gate signal. Always include a --comment
explaining why; silent dismissals are not acceptable curation.
Do not call SonarCloud's HTTP API directly from other skills or one-off
scripts — sonar.sh accept is the supported entry point so the rationale
flow stays consistent.

Run `npx skills add agentculture/culture --skill sonarclaude -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (.claude/skills/sonarclaude in agentculture/culture) into .claude/skills/sonarclaude in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.

Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add agentculture/culture --skill sonarclaude -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/sonarclaude, .gemini/skills/sonarclaude, .github/skills/sonarclaude and .opencode/skills/sonarclaude in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Sonarclaude needs a shell for the scripts in its folder, the command-line tools its instructions call (bash) and credentials named SONAR_TOKEN. Our summary lists: A Bash shell; A credential in SONAR_TOKEN.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. The check reads SKILL.md only: the scripts in the folder are not scanned, so read them before running anything.
Sonarclaude is published under the Apache-2.0 licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 764 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3.1k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
