Novel Reference Analysis Method is an agent skill from yannikzz/narracat-novel-agent. A reference work analysis method providing text decomposition and five-dimension extraction framework (premise / world / characters / structure / style, with narrator voice sub-framework under style) for distilling injectable guidance from user-provided reference novels. Enforces detextualization (paraphrase mechanisms instead of copying proper nouns, signature lines, or imagery) and refuses any ≥10-character verbatim copying. Use only when /narracat:reference command analyzes texts in bible/references/. Not for…
Its SKILL.md is about 1.1k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 2 other files, including reference files (for example `references/text-decomposition-methodology.md`).
It sits in Writing & Content, covering Creative writing and fiction. The repository describes itself as: 面向中国网文作者的 AI 共创桌面应用 | AI-powered desktop writing studio for Chinese web novels. The licence is AGPL-3.0.
5 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 2c49f9f. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Novel Reference Analysis Method loads about 1.1k tokens when it runs, and up to ~2.3k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 144 tokens; SKILL.md has 255 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from yannikzz/narracat-novel-agent at commit 2c49f9f, republished under its AGPL-3.0 licence (© yannikzz). 255 words, ~1,128 tokens.
.claude/skills/novel-reference-analysis-method/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder). This skill also uses 1 other file; get the full folder from GitHub.
不被任何 Agent 注入,不被 setup/world/plan/write/review/rewrite 自动匹配。
commands/reference.md约定。
详见 ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/skills/novel-reference-analysis-method/references/text-decomposition-methodology.md(按需 Read 加载)。
每个参考作品在 style 维度下额外提炼 5 个「叙述者腔调」子项(与 commands/reference.md 步骤 4 的 style.md 模板 5 子项一一对应;具体目标文件结构以 commands/reference.md 为准):

About 1.1k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 4.5k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 1.2k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
