pushme-send-messageSends push messages to the PushMe Android client from scripts, CI jobs and alerts, choosing between notification and silent data message types.
This skill covers calling the PushMe API to deliver a message to a phone. Its central rule is to decide first whether the user wants a notification or a data display. Notification types (text, markdown, html, url) pop up, ring and vibrate; data types (data, markdata, chart, echarts, svg) render on the app's data screen and raise no notification, so choosing the wrong class looks like a broken push. When intent is unclear the agent defaults to `text`.
Settings resolve from environment variables (`PUSHME_URL`, `PUSHME_KEY`), then `pushme.config.json`, then defaults. The key is a permanent `push_key` or a `temp_key` taken from the app, and the address can be the official service, a self-hosted server or a direct LAN address. The bundled `send.py` implements this logic and takes a title and a body. The skill says to keep keys out of the repository and to ask you for one instead of guessing, and it notes that code written for WeCom, DingTalk or Feishu group bots can be switched over because the interface is compatible.
9 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 63f456f. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Ships script files (Python), which the agent can run.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
pythoncurlFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
Hosts in commands or code, which the agent is likely to contact:
push.i-i.meAlso links to:
github.comFrom URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names these keys or tokens, usually read from environment variables:
PUSHME_KEYFrom names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
PushMe Message Sender loads about 1.9k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 61 tokens; SKILL.md has 458 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Without a licence we can't republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 458 words (~1,878 tokens).

Sends push messages to the PushMe Android client from scripts, CI jobs and alerts, choosing between notification and silent data message types. This skill covers calling the PushMe API to deliver a message to a phone. Its central rule is to decide first whether the user wants a notification or a data display.
PushMe Message Sender fits situations like: sending a build-finished or alert notification to a phone from a script; writing curl, Python, Node or shell code that calls the PushMe API; switching existing group-bot notification code over to PushMe; debugging messages that were sent but never arrived.
Run `npx skills add yafoo/pushme --skill pushme-send-message -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skill/pushme-send-message in yafoo/pushme) into .claude/skills/pushme-send-message in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add yafoo/pushme --skill pushme-send-message -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (skill/pushme-send-message in yafoo/pushme) into .agents/skills/pushme-send-message in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add yafoo/pushme --skill pushme-send-message -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/pushme-send-message, .gemini/skills/pushme-send-message, .github/skills/pushme-send-message and .opencode/skills/pushme-send-message in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, PushMe Message Sender needs Python for the scripts in its folder, the command-line tools its instructions call (python and curl) and credentials named PUSHME_KEY. Our summary lists: A PushMe `push_key` or `temp_key` from the app; Python to run the bundled `send.py`; Network access to the official server, a self-hosted one or the device on the LAN.
SKILL.md names 2 domains. In commands or code: push.i-i.me; the agent is likely to contact it when it follows the instructions. As links in the text: github.com. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
No licence was found for PushMe Message Sender or its repository. Without one, default copyright applies: ask the author before reusing or redistributing it.
About 1.9k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 7.5k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
