Formal Modeling Paper Writer
yushui2022/MathModel-Skill
Plans, drafts, audits, formats and verifies a formal mathematical-modeling paper from an evidence chain, delivering audited Markdown and a Word file with native equations.
Three-role workflow for math modeling contests: problem analysis, code and results, then a paper, with independent subagent checks at each stage gate.

math-modelingThree-role workflow for math modeling contests: problem analysis, code and results, then a paper, with independent subagent checks at each stage gate.
A Chinese-language skill that splits a math-modeling task into three roles: a modeler who analyzes the problem and picks models, a programmer who writes the code, runs results and makes figures, and a paper writer who produces the paper. You can run the whole sequence or any single role. The generated paper is for reference only and is not meant to be submitted as is, because its structure and format must follow the target contest's current official rules and template.
A mandatory protocol has the agent say which skill, roots and stage it is using, actually read each role's SKILL.md, use the provided scripts and templates instead of hand-written substitutes, treat any validation warning as unfinished work and report the commands run with their exit codes. By default only quality-check subagents are dispatched, at gates named M1, P1, P2, W1 and W2, and optional collaboration stays off unless you switch it on. The modeler delivers a problem analysis report and a glossary. The skill folder is read-only and new files go only to the project folder, and for real contests the agent checks official deadlines and keeps a submit-ready checkpoint.

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit bf64c5f. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

Ships 1 file in scripts/, which the agent can run.

Math Modeling Competition Workflow loads about 1.2k tokens when it runs, and up to ~5k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 34 tokens; SKILL.md has 271 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); the scripts in this folder are not scanned.
Without a licence we can't republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 271 words (~1,238 tokens).

RealSeaberry/AutoMCM-Pro
Runs a math modeling competition entry end to end, in AI-led or human-led mode, with Git checkpoints and self-verified solver code before it enters the LaTeX paper.

Stage protocol for a math-modeling pipeline that turns a problem analysis into a unified mathematical mechanism, formulas, a solution route and a validation plan.
RealSeaberry/AutoMCM-Pro
Runs an MCM/ICM math modeling competition end to end: collects contest metadata, builds and verifies models and code, then generates an English LaTeX paper and any required memo.
HKUDS/DeepTutor
Reads, creates and edits Word .docx files with python-docx, and drops to raw OOXML for tracked changes, comments and byte-exact edits.

A Chinese-language skill that splits a math-modeling task into three roles: a modeler who analyzes the problem and picks models, a programmer who writes the code, runs results and makes figures, and a paper writer who produces the paper. Math Modeling Competition Workflow fits situations like: working through a math modeling contest problem such as CUMCM or MCM/ICM; only analyzing a problem and choosing models; writing code, running results and plotting figures for a modeling solution; drafting or revising a modeling paper in DOCX.
Run `npx skills add XiaoMaColtAI/math-modeling-skill --skill math-modeling -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (the XiaoMaColtAI/math-modeling-skill repository) into .claude/skills/math-modeling in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add XiaoMaColtAI/math-modeling-skill --skill math-modeling -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (the XiaoMaColtAI/math-modeling-skill repository) into .agents/skills/math-modeling in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add XiaoMaColtAI/math-modeling-skill --skill math-modeling -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/math-modeling, .gemini/skills/math-modeling, .github/skills/math-modeling and .opencode/skills/math-modeling in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Math Modeling Competition Workflow is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: Python or MATLAB for the modeling code; A project folder separate from the skill's install folder; An agent that supports subagents, for the independent checks.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. The check reads SKILL.md only: the scripts in the folder are not scanned, so read them before running anything.
No licence was found for Math Modeling Competition Workflow or its repository. Without one, default copyright applies: ask the author before reusing or redistributing it.
About 1.2k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 5k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 3.8k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
