What it does

PR Description is an agent skill from teddytennant/wizard. Write a pull-request title and body from the current branch against its base. Why, what, how to test. No marketing.

Its SKILL.md is about 480 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 1 other file.

It sits in Development, covering Pull requests. It works with Git. The repository describes itself as: The fastest agent in your terminal. The licence is Apache-2.0.

Workflow steps

3 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.

  1. git_status. Note the branch, the likely base (main or master, or whatever this repo uses), and whether anything is still uncommitted.
  2. The commits and the diff against that base (git log ..HEAD, git_diff or git diff ...HEAD). Read both. Describe only what is in them.
  3. A PR template if the repo ships one (.github/pull_request_template.md and the usual variants). Use its headings. Do not invent a template…

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit b4290bf. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

    Shell commands in SKILL.md call:

    • git

From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

No URLs in SKILL.md. Its commands use git, which can reach the network depending on how they are called.

From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

Context cost

PR Description loads about 484 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 33 tokens; SKILL.md has 253 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Always · name and description, kept in context so the agent knows when to use it
~33
When it runs · the whole SKILL.md, loaded when a task matches
~484

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Pull request description

Write the title and body. Do not open, push, or edit the PR unless the user asked.

What to look at

  1. git_status. Note the branch, the likely base (main or master, or whatever this repo uses), and whether anything is still uncommitted.
  2. The commits and the diff against that base (git log <base>..HEAD, git_diff or git diff <base>...HEAD). Read both. Describe only what is in them.
  3. A PR template if the repo ships one (.github/pull_request_template.md and the usual variants). Use its headings. Do not invent a template the tree does not have.

If there are no commits against the base, say so and stop.

Title

One line, imperative, specific. The first conventional-commit subject on the branch is a starting point, not a requirement. Skip [WIP] unless the user said the PR is unfinished.

Body

Match the repo's voice. When there is no template, use this shape:

## Why

<the problem this branch closes. one or two sentences. not a feature list.>

## What

<what the diff does, in the order a reviewer will read it. name files and
behaviour, not effort.>

## Test plan

- [ ] <a command a reviewer can run>
- [ ] <the case that used to fail>

Rules:

  • Every claim is grounded in the diff or the log. "Improves performance" needs a measurement or it comes out.
  • Do not list files the diff does not touch.
  • Do not thank reviewers, do not add emoji, do not write a sales paragraph.
  • A revert or a mechanical version bump is one sentence, not an essay.

How to verify

Name the commands a reviewer can run. Not "tested locally". Leave template boxes unchecked unless those commands were actually run.

If the diff includes a secret, say that a secret is present and stop; do not put it in the PR body.
