post-forge-featureWrites a short Twitter/X post that promotes a ForgeCode feature, built to sit beside an attached demo video, and shows it for your approval.
The agent first reads the relevant source code, docs or changelog to learn what the feature does, when a developer would reach for it and what pain it removes. It then drafts the post using the style guide in references/style-guide.md, which sets tone, vocabulary, approved hashtags and example posts, and presents the draft for tweaks before finalizing.
Constraints keep posts tight: two to three sentences that fit roughly 280 characters, no filler announcement phrases, no em dashes, the name written as ForgeCode, a lead that states the developer benefit or problem solved, and a closing hashtag line. Because the video is attached, the post neither tells readers to watch it nor describes what is in it.
3 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 92a5699. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

ForgeCode Feature Post Writer loads about 374 tokens when it runs, and up to ~1.1k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 65 tokens; SKILL.md has 178 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add tailcallhq/forgecode --skill post-forge-feature -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/post-forge-feature, .gemini/skills/post-forge-feature, .github/skills/post-forge-feature and .opencode/skills/post-forge-feature in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: ForgeCode Feature Post Writer is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: Access to the ForgeCode source, docs or changelog.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
