clawsweeper-statusReports ClawSweeper's status with a bundled script: workflow health, active workers, queue health and recently merged, reviewed, commented and closed items.
The agent runs the bundled `clawsweeper-status.sh` script first, optionally with `--hours` to set the time window for the default target repository, openclaw/openclaw, and then reports in a fixed contract: Workers, Queue health, Publication tail, Recently merged, Recently reviewed, Recently commented and Recently closed. A section with no rows is reported as none found in the window.
Queue health leads the report whenever it is not healthy, and the agent reads the split printed under it instead of judging by pending depth alone. Near-zero ready items with a deep queue means items are deliberately held back, GitHub rate-limit backoff recovers on its own, and parked items that exhausted review retries do not self-heal and need an operator. Occupancy marked unavailable does not mean zero. Active workflow groups are capped at 20, required fetch failures stay fatal, and optional telemetry may be unavailable. A test script and fixture ship alongside.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 79150cf. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Ships 3 files in scripts/ (Shell), which the agent can run.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
ghFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md. Its commands use gh, which can reach the network depending on how they are called.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
ClawSweeper Status loads about 972 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 23 tokens; SKILL.md has 433 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); the scripts in this folder are not scanned.

# Last 10 hours for the default target repo, openclaw/openclaw
/Users/steipete/Projects/agent-scripts/skills/clawsweeper-status/scripts/clawsweeper-status.sh --hours 10
# A different target repo
/Users/steipete/Projects/agent-scripts/skills/clawsweeper-status/scripts/clawsweeper-status.sh --repo openclaw/clawhub
# More rows per activity section
/Users/steipete/Projects/agent-scripts/skills/clawsweeper-status/scripts/clawsweeper-status.sh --limit 15Report these sections concisely:
Workers: workflow state, Codex jobs against configured capacity, exact-review queue and target occupancy when available, and active workflow groups. Public queue aggregates remain usable without private target occupancy; occupancy unavailable does not mean zero.Queue health: lead with this whenever it is not healthy. Pending depth on its own is not a verdict — read the split the script prints underneath it:ready/admissible near zero while pending is deep means the lane is deliberately holding items back, not stalled.Queue backoff: throttle_retry N means GitHub is rate-limiting; the lane recovers on its own once quota returns.Queue parked (needs operator): review_retry_exhausted N does not self-heal. Parked items retry at 5/10/20 minutes and then wait for a human. Always call these out explicitly.Shed since reset climbing into the thousands means sustained overload, not a blip.Publication tail: aggregate pending/ready/backoff/parked/active counts and capacity when available, plus retry and parked reasons. This is separate from the review backlog, not per-target activity; legacy responses without this lane report unavailable.Recently merged: merged PR URLs plus one-line titles.Recently reviewed: ClawSweeper/Codex review comment URLs plus one-line comment summary.Recently commented: other recent ClawSweeper comment URLs plus one-line comment summary.Recently closed: closed issue/PR URLs plus one-line titles. If the script returns no rows for a section, say none found in window.
Active workflow groups are capped at 20, ordered by descending run count; activity sections are capped at --limit rows. Large workflow snapshots must still reach all activity sections. Required fetch/parser failures remain fatal; optional queue/capacity telemetry can remain unavailable.
Prefer the script because it uses bounded API calls:
openclaw/clawsweeper;Do not browse the web for these checks. Use gh directly.

ClawSweeper Status fits situations like: checking whether ClawSweeper workflows are healthy; seeing how many workers and queue items are active; listing recently merged, reviewed or closed items for the target repository.
Run `npx skills add steipete/agent-scripts --skill clawsweeper-status -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/clawsweeper-status in steipete/agent-scripts) into .claude/skills/clawsweeper-status in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.

Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add steipete/agent-scripts --skill clawsweeper-status -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/clawsweeper-status, .gemini/skills/clawsweeper-status, .github/skills/clawsweeper-status and .opencode/skills/clawsweeper-status in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, ClawSweeper Status needs a shell for the scripts in its folder and the command-line tools its instructions call (gh). Our summary lists: The bundled `clawsweeper-status.sh` script; Network access for the script's API calls.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Its commands use gh, which can reach the network depending on how they are called. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. The check reads SKILL.md only: the scripts in the folder are not scanned, so read them before running anything.
ClawSweeper Status is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 972 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3.9k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
