spline-3d-integrationA skill your agent uses when adding interactive 3D scenes from Spline.design to web projects, including React embedding and runtime control API.
Spline 3D Integration is an agent skill from sickn33/agentic-awesome-skills. Use when adding interactive 3D scenes from Spline.design to web projects, including React embedding and runtime control API.
Its SKILL.md is about 1.2k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 9 other files (for example `guides/COMMON_PROBLEMS.md`, `guides/PERFORMANCE.md` and `guides/REACT_INTEGRATION.md`).
It sits in AI & LLM Engineering, covering Embeddings and 3D graphics and WebGL. It works with React. The repository describes itself as: AAS Core is the local, agent-first control plane for complete catalog discovery, agent-owned selection, stack validation, and planning, backed by 2,400+ agentic skills. Includes… The licence is MIT.
3 steps, taken from the step headings in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 680176d. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
Hosts in commands or code, which the agent is likely to contact:
prod.spline.designAlso links to:
spline.designFrom URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Spline 3D Integration loads about 1.2k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 37 tokens; SKILL.md has 419 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Spline is a browser-based 3D design tool — think Figma, but for 3D. Designers create interactive 3D scenes (objects, materials, animations, physics, events) in the Spline editor, then export them for the web via a hosted .splinecode file URL.
Before writing any code, check the existing project files to determine the framework.
| Stack | Method |
|---|---|
| Vanilla HTML/JS | <spline-viewer> web component OR @splinetool/runtime |
| React / Vite | @splinetool/react-spline |
| Next.js | @splinetool/react-spline/next |
| Vue | @splinetool/vue-spline |
| iframe (Webflow, Notion, etc.) | Public URL iframe |
The user must go to their Spline editor → Export → Code Export → copy the prod.spline.design URL:
https://prod.spline.design/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/scene.splinecodeBefore copying the URL, tell the user to check Play Settings:
Once you have the stack and the scene URL, read the appropriate guide file above and follow its instructions. Always read COMMON_PROBLEMS.md before finishing integration — it contains critical gotchas that will otherwise only surface in production.

SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Spline 3D Integration is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md names 2 domains. In commands or code: prod.spline.design; the agent is likely to contact it when it follows the instructions. As links in the text: spline.design. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.

About 1.2k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 4.7k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
