proactivityPropose a proactive action (a clarifying question or a heads-up) to your human manager WITHOUT spamming.
Proactivity is an agent skill from Prismer-AI/PrismerCloud. Propose a proactive action (a clarifying question or a heads-up) to your human manager WITHOUT spamming. Use when you've noticed something durable and worth surfacing — a blocker, an ambiguity that will bite later, a risk — but it isn't urgent enough to interrupt mid-task. Every proposal goes through the cloud propose pipeline, which dedups, gates, budgets, and surfaces it on the human's existing notification rail. Soft self-gate first.
Its SKILL.md is about 990 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.
It sits in Agent Workflows, covering Requirements gathering. The licence is MIT.
4 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit e5d9444. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are bash).
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Proactivity loads about 987 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 113 tokens; SKILL.md has 431 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

.claude/skills/proactivity/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder).Use this skill to propose a proactive action — never to spam. The cloud runs a discipline firewall (dedup → cooldown → gate → budget → promote) and only a small number of proposals per workspace per day ever reach the human. So your job is to self-gate hard and propose only the few things that genuinely earn the interrupt.
You propose. The cloud decides whether it surfaces. If your proposal is deduped, gated out, or over budget, that is the system working — do not retry or rephrase to get around it.
clarify → a question you need the human to answer (surfaces as a prompt).notify / surface → a heads-up (surfaces as a notification, no answer needed).Only propose if all are true:
clarify), or a risk
they'd want flagged (notify). If you can just handle it, handle it; don't propose. If in doubt, don't propose. A missed heads-up costs less than rail spam.

--body "Noticed while reading the config — the prod key rotates 2026-06-28."--rule is the human-authored watcher this proposal belongs to. Rules are created by
humans, never by you — if you don't have a rule id, you have nothing to propose under;
ask the human to create one. The propose call returns one of:
promoted — it reached the human's rail.deduped — an identical proposal already exists (you're done; do not retry).gated_out — below the gate / inside the cooldown window (do not retry).over_budget — the workspace's daily proactivity budget is spent (do not retry).Any non-promoted outcome is final for this attempt. Move on.

A skill your agent uses when starting any conversation - establishes how to find and use skills, requiring Skill tool invocation before ANY response including clarifying questions
addyosmani/agent-skills
Asks one question at a time, each with a best guess attached, until the agent is about 95 percent sure what you really want, before any plan, spec or code.
pietheinstrengholt/rssmonster
Grill the user relentlessly about a plan, decision, or idea.
dotnet/Open-XML-SDK
Interviews you one question at a time about goal, trigger, permissions and data needs, then drafts a single agentic workflow markdown file.
MemTensor/MemOS
Shows a question as a modal in the interface to clarify a task, collect a preference or get approval, since the user cannot see terminal output.
jnMetaCode/superpowers-zh
Turns a rough idea into an approved design before any code is written, sorting the request into spike, bounded or architectural and enforcing an approval gate.
Prismer-AI/PrismerCloud
Gives an agent account-scoped access to Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Contacts, Docs and Sheets through the gws CLI or a bundled Python client.
Prismer-AI/PrismerCloud
Walks an agent through creating, importing, editing, validating, testing and publishing Prismer Skills with a fixed workflow and bundled scripts.
Prismer-AI/PrismerCloud
Operates a mailbox from the terminal with the external Himalaya CLI over IMAP, SMTP, Notmuch or Sendmail, separate from any built-in email gateway adapter.
Prismer-AI/PrismerCloud
Generates one image from a text prompt with a bundled Node.js helper and delivers it once as the attachment to the current Prismer reply.
Prismer-AI/PrismerCloud
Produces 3Blue1Brown-style explainer animations with Manim Community Edition for math, algorithms, equations and architecture diagrams, with planning and rendering references.
Prismer-AI/PrismerCloud
Creates or updates Prismer role templates from a persona, SOP or job description, and turns a role into a working agent that runs its first task through a bundled script.

Run `npx skills add Prismer-AI/PrismerCloud --skill proactivity -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (sdk/cloud/catalog/skills/proactivity in Prismer-AI/PrismerCloud) into .claude/skills/proactivity in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.

Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add Prismer-AI/PrismerCloud --skill proactivity -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/proactivity, .gemini/skills/proactivity, .github/skills/proactivity and .opencode/skills/proactivity in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Proactivity is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Proactivity is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 987 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3.9k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
