Pnpm Engine
teambit/bit
Work on the pnpm Rust engine (@pnpm/napi, the pacquet crates) that bit install runs through.
Updates the biome package across a monorepo with pnpm, renames and realigns biome.jsonc schema versions, then runs lint fixes.

bumping-biomeUpdates the biome package across a monorepo with pnpm, renames and realigns biome.jsonc schema versions, then runs lint fixes.
The steps run `pnpm up -D -w -r @biomejs/biome@<version>`, falling back to latest when no version is given, rename any remaining biome.json files to biome.jsonc, and update the $schema version number inside each one to match. From there `pnpm -w lint:fix` runs and any issues are reported briefly, with an offer to run the unsafe-fix variant if problems remain, and a final offer to propose fixes by hand for whatever is still broken afterward.
It explicitly avoids scanning for the current biome version beforehand, since the version change will already be visible in the git diff once the bump runs.
6 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 095af7a. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
pnpmFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md. Its commands use pnpm, which can reach the network depending on how they are called.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Bump Biome Package Version loads about 400 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 90 tokens; SKILL.md has 183 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from prisma/orm at commit 095af7a, republished under its Apache-2.0 licence (© prisma). 183 words, ~400 tokens.
.claude/skills/bumping-biome/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder).Run pnpm up -D -w -r @biomejs/biome@<version> - replace <version> with a specific package version provided in the session, otherwise fallback to latest.
If any biome.json files remain, rename them to biome.jsonc. Then replace the old package version number in $schema with the newly installed package version number from the previous step, in every biome.jsonc.
Run pnpm -w lint:fix. Report any issues/regressions briefly.
If there are remaining unsafe fixes following the previous step, offer to run pnpm -w lint:fix:unsafe to attempt to fix some of the issues/regressions.
If the offer in the previous step is agreed, run the appropriate command, and report any remaining issues/regressions briefly.
If there are remaining issues/regressions after the previous step, try and come up with your own suggestions for fixing them and present the plan.
Don't scan for biome versions. If the session doesn't include a specific package version number, use latest.
Don't read the root package.json or lockfiles looking for the current biome version/s. We'll see the change in version numbers in Git anyway.

Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Bump Biome Package Version needs the command-line tools its instructions call (pnpm). Our summary lists: pnpm in a workspace or monorepo setup.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Bump Biome Package Version is published under the Apache-2.0 licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 400 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 1.6k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
