Finishing a Development Branch
obra/superpowers
Walks the last step of a branch: confirm tests pass, detect the git environment, ask how to integrate, carry out your choice and clean up the worktree.
Open, update, title, review, or prepare libcrafter pull requests so commits are ready for rebase-and-fast-forward landing and required validation is documented.

Its SKILL.md is about 480 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.
It sits in Development, covering Pull requests. The repository describes itself as: A Rust library for constructing, sending, capturing, and decoding network packets. The licence is MIT.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit f9ef000. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are bash).
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Prepare PR loads about 482 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 43 tokens; SKILL.md has 242 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Branches created for PR work must follow the repo-local create-branch skill:
kind/short-slugUse typed names such as feature/complete-oracle or
fix/normalize-tcp-options, not bare task names such as complete-oracle.
The PR title summarizes the preserved commit series and must follow the same Conventional Commits policy as regular commits:
type(scope): subjectAllowed types are build, chore, ci, docs, feat, fix, perf,
refactor, revert, style, and test.
Scopes are required. Use the narrowest useful scope, such as ci, pcap,
validation, interop, docs, net, or a protocol family. Do not include PR
numbers, reviewer thanks, or branch metadata in the title.
Fill the template with:
Do not mention internal agent workflow unless the user explicitly asks for it.
PRs should be rebased onto the latest protected base branch and then landed by fast-forwarding the base branch to the PR head. Do not use GitHub squash merge for normal PR landing.
Every commit in the PR range must pass:
.agents/scripts/check-conventional-commits --range origin/master..HEADIf a PR targets a renamed default branch such as main, substitute that base in
the range.
If a PR accumulates noisy work-in-progress commits, fix up, squash, or reword them before marking the PR ready, then rebase again onto the latest protected base.

Prepare PR fits situations like: tasks that involve Pull requests.
Run `npx skills add pellegre/libcrafter --skill prepare-pr -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (.agents/skills/prepare-pr in pellegre/libcrafter) into .claude/skills/prepare-pr in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.

Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add pellegre/libcrafter --skill prepare-pr -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/prepare-pr, .gemini/skills/prepare-pr, .github/skills/prepare-pr and .opencode/skills/prepare-pr in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Prepare PR is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.

About 482 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 1.9k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
