What it does

Proposal Foundation Feasibility is an agent skill from Optima-CityU/LLM4AD_Next. Use when documenting a proposal's research foundation, available conditions, team support, feasibility, and risk controls from author-supplied facts.

Its SKILL.md is about 610 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 2 other files, including reference files (for example `references/foundation-and-feasibility.md`).

The repository describes itself as: A next-generation automatic algorithm design platform, making automated algorithm design more accessible and easier to use. The licence is BSD-3-Clause.

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit e3d3f7b. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.

From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

    No URLs in SKILL.md.

From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

Context cost

Proposal Foundation Feasibility loads about 613 tokens when it runs, and up to ~1.2k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 45 tokens; SKILL.md has 297 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Always · name and description, kept in context so the agent knows when to use it
~45
When it runs · the whole SKILL.md, loaded when a task matches
~613
With references · SKILL.md plus every file in references/, read only if the agent opens them
~1.2k

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Proposal Research Foundation and Feasibility

Use this skill only for the proposal foundation and feasibility stage.

Read the method reference completely before acting: references/foundation-and-feasibility.md.

You may read any project source file for context. Write only sections/06-feasibility.typ.

Project documents are optional context. Their names describe their role; decide whether and when to read each one from the current stage and request. The presence of a project document does not make it mandatory input.

Workflow

  1. Select the foundation, completed methods, author materials, and source-grounded facts needed to assess capability and feasibility.
  2. Document only real preliminary work, team capabilities, facilities, data access, collaborations, and institutional support supplied by the author or trusted source material.
  3. Explain which planned task or project risk each foundation item supports; do not present a biography or equipment inventory as proof by itself.
  4. Assess goal, technical, resource, schedule, and risk feasibility against the completed objectives and methods.
  5. Ask the author for missing consequential facts. Never invent publications, results, team members, facilities, data access, or available resources.
  6. Keep achieved facts distinct from planned work and conditional risk controls.
  7. Write the Typst section, then call publish_stage_result from the enabled LLM4AD stage MCP server with the written path, summary, any citation keys used, context_patch, and a stable idempotency key. Tool success is the stage-completion signal; repair and retry validation errors in the same conversation. Upsert durable author-confirmed facts or decisions newly established or corrected in this stage under model-defined stable keys. Do not repeat untouched blocks or force a fixed field structure.

Quality checks

  • Every feasibility claim has author-provided or source-grounded support.
  • Every required method has credible expertise, resources, time, and a fallback.
  • Achieved work and proposed work are unmistakably separated.
  • Names, results, facilities, and team facts are not inferred or embellished.
