What it does

Deslop is an agent skill from openclaw/openclaw-enterprise. Clean only the current Enterprise diff before autoreview, preserving behavior, security boundaries, required TODOs, and useful test-intent comments.

Its SKILL.md is about 740 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.

It sits in Writing & Content, covering Humanizing AI text. The repository describes itself as: The Enterprise-grade Control Plane for modern agentic workloads. The licence is MIT.

When your agent uses it

  • Tasks that involve Humanizing AI text

Example prompts

  • “/deslop”

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 92989b1. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

    Shell commands in SKILL.md call:

    • git

From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

No URLs in SKILL.md. Its commands use git, which can reach the network depending on how they are called.

From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

Context cost

Deslop loads about 739 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 39 tokens; SKILL.md has 345 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Always · name and description, kept in context so the agent knows when to use it
~39
When it runs · the whole SKILL.md, loaded when a task matches
~739

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

description
Clean only the current Enterprise diff before autoreview, preserving behavior, security boundaries, required TODOs, and useful test-intent comments.

Deslop

Keep cleanup confined to the current diff and strictly behavior-neutral. Use it before requested autoreview; cleanup does not replace correctness or safety review.

For readability choices in the current diff, consult the relevant sections of Readable code on functions, values, composition, and state ownership. Apply those examples within this skill's behavior-neutral scope.

Scope and checklist

Establish the intended branch base from the PR or repository metadata. Inspect committed changes from its merge base to HEAD, plus staged, unstaged, and relevant untracked changes. Preserve unrelated work; never sweep the repository or change the base to make the cleanup larger. Read surrounding code to judge each hunk.

Look for:

  • Comments that narrate syntax or repeat code without explaining intent.
  • Unnecessary intermediate variables or one-use helpers that add no meaning.
  • Type assertions such as as any or as unknown as T that hide a type problem.
  • Defensive checks, catch blocks, retries, aliases, or fallbacks that appear inconsistent with the supported contract.
  • Naming, imports, formatting, or control flow inconsistent with nearby code and Enterprise style.

These patterns require judgment. Apply only trivial, demonstrably behavior-neutral edits. Removing a guard, catch, retry, fallback, or type cast can change behavior or expose a real type-contract defect: leave uncertain or functional changes in place and report them for separate review. Do not hide errors with wider types or replace security checks with assumptions.

Preserve required intent

Keep real fail-closed checks, authorization and credential boundaries, configuration rejection, and attributable audit behavior. Redundancy alone is not evidence that a security check is removable.

Preserve deferred-work TODOs while the capability remains unimplemented. Preserve integration-test comments that explain scenarios, non-obvious setup, expected outcomes, or security invariants; remove only narration that contributes no such information. Do not label permanent security boundaries as temporary work.

Use enterprise-testing for proportional verification of edits and run git diff --check. If behavior neutrality cannot be established, report the candidate instead of applying it as style work. Summarize in one to three sentences what changed and any non-trivial candidates left for the author.
