screen-stocksScreens for undervalued stocks across about 60 regions with yfinance's EquityQuery, using ratios such as PER, PBR, dividend yield and ROE, with optional theme filters.
The agent works out the region, preset and sector from your request and then runs `scripts/run_screen.py` with matching options. Screening uses the EquityQuery API in yfinance, so no list of tickers is needed, and the default query mode covers every region quickly. The skill lists region codes such as jp, us, sg, hk, kr and tw, and exchange codes for Tokyo, NASDAQ, NYSE, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan.
A `--theme` option narrows any preset except trending, pullback and alpha to a theme such as AI, EV, cloud and SaaS, cybersecurity, biotech, renewable energy, fintech, defense or healthcare, with definitions kept in `config/themes.yaml`. `--auto-theme` asks the Grok API to detect three to five trending themes from X and the web, matches them against that file and screens each one, and it cannot be combined with `--theme` and needs an `XAI_API_KEY`. The SKILL.md is written in Japanese, and its sample command points at the author's own local path.

Value Stock Screener loads about 2.4k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 29 tokens; SKILL.md has 436 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); the scripts in this folder are not scanned.
Without a licence we can't republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 436 words (~2,402 tokens).

Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Value Stock Screener needs Python for the scripts in its folder, the command-line tools its instructions call (python3) and credentials named XAI_API_KEY. Our summary lists: Python 3 with yfinance; An XAI_API_KEY for the auto-theme option. Its frontmatter pre-approves these tools: Bash(python3 *).
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. The check reads SKILL.md only: the scripts in the folder are not scanned, so read them before running anything.
No licence was found for Value Stock Screener or its repository. Without one, default copyright applies: ask the author before reusing or redistributing it.
About 2.4k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 9.6k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
