singapore-cpf-explainerA skill your agent uses when asked how CPF works, how much CPF my employer should pay, what happens to my CPF at 55, can I use CPF for my HDB flat, should I top up my CPF, or 公积金怎么算 in Singapore.
Singapore Cpf Explainer is an agent skill from mohitagw15856/pm-claude-skills. Use when asked how CPF works, how much CPF my employer should pay, what happens to my CPF at 55, can I use CPF for my HDB flat, should I top up my CPF, or 公积金怎么算 in Singapore. Produces how the person's CPF contributions are split across the accounts, a contribution check against payslips, what changes at 55 and 65, the housing, top-up and withdrawal options with their trade-offs, and the figures to confirm with the CPF Board.
Its SKILL.md is about 1k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.
The repository describes itself as: 1255 professional Agent Skills for Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor & Codex — PRDs, postmortems, leases, medical bills, layoffs, go-bags, new countries. Plain markdown, MIT, in… The licence is MIT.
6 steps, taken from the step headings in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 1cbf1f0. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Singapore Cpf Explainer loads about 1k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 113 tokens; SKILL.md has 557 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from mohitagw15856/pm-claude-skills at commit 1cbf1f0, republished under its MIT licence (© mohitagw15856). 557 words, ~1,038 tokens.
.claude/skills/singapore-cpf-explainer/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder). The Central Provident Fund is most Singaporeans' and permanent residents' biggest asset after their home, and it touches housing, healthcare and retirement at once. People lose out by never checking their employer's contributions, by using CPF for housing without seeing the retirement cost, and by missing top-ups that earn tax relief and higher interest. This skill explains the person's CPF plainly, checks the numbers they give, and lays out their options.
Write in English unless the person asks for Chinese (新加坡华文, Simplified script) or Malay. Contribution rates, wage ceilings, retirement sums and interest rates change; mark every figure to confirm on cpf.gov.sg. This is information, not financial advice.
Ask for these if not provided:
Employer and employee contribution rates for the person's age band and status, the ordinary wage ceiling and the annual salary ceiling (confirm current figures), and how each month's contribution is allocated across the Ordinary, Special or Retirement, and MediSave Accounts.
| Month | Wages | Employer should pay | Employee should pay | On CPF statement | Match? | If anything does not match: ask HR first, then report late or missing contributions to the CPF Board.
How much the person can use for the flat, the accrued interest that must be refunded to the account on sale, and the retirement income given up by using Ordinary Account savings now.
The Retirement Account formed at 55, the retirement sums (basic, full, enhanced; confirm current amounts), what can be withdrawn at 55, and CPF LIFE payouts from the payout eligibility age, with the plan options.
Cash top-ups and transfers into the Special, Retirement or MediSave Account, the tax relief cap (confirm), the higher interest, and the catch: money topped up is locked for retirement.
Three concrete actions in order, each with where to do it (the CPF website or app with Singpass).
