bailian-cliHub for the bl CLI of Alibaba Cloud Model Studio (Bailian): app calls, knowledge bases, model catalog, usage and quota, workspaces, MCP market, auth and skill installs.
The skill owns the Bailian resource commands: invoking apps and app memory, knowledge base retrieval, the model catalog, usage, quota and free allowance, workspaces, the MCP marketplace, pipelines, file upload, console API calls, login and configuration, and installing, listing, updating or removing skills through bl skill. Before running anything the agent must read the shared bailian-protocol skill for provider choice and consent, version checks, auth setup and error reporting, and if it is missing it runs bl skill init instead of guessing.
Neighboring skills take over by task: bailian-gen for images, video, speech and vision, bailian-finetune for datasets, training and deployment, bailian-managed-agent for agents.yaml, bailian-sandbox for sandboxes and bailian-web-search for search routing. A generated reference folder documents each command group. It is not for ordinary reasoning, coding, writing, translation, summaries or generic search, and for an unnamed usage or quota question it asks which product first.
3 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 8bbbbc7. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
pnpmFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md. Its commands use pnpm, which can reach the network depending on how they are called.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Aliyun Model Studio CLI loads about 4.2k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 173 tokens; SKILL.md has 1,239 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from modelstudioai/cli at commit 8bbbbc7, republished under its Apache-2.0 licence (© modelstudioai). 1,239 words, ~4,170 tokens.

Run `npx skills add modelstudioai/cli --skill bailian-cli -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/bailian-cli in modelstudioai/cli) into .claude/skills/bailian-cli in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.

With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add modelstudioai/cli --skill bailian-cli -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/bailian-cli, .gemini/skills/bailian-cli, .github/skills/bailian-cli and .opencode/skills/bailian-cli in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Aliyun Model Studio CLI needs the command-line tools its instructions call (pnpm). Our summary lists: The `bl` CLI from Alibaba Cloud Model Studio; A Model Studio account with credentials set up through the CLI.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Aliyun Model Studio CLI is published under the Apache-2.0 licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 4.2k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 17k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
