mem0-tourShows everything mem0 has stored for the current project, grouped by category, with a compact search mode and an all-projects view.
mem0-tour shows what mem0 has stored for the current project, using the get_memories and search_memories tools. The full tour fetches all memories for the active user and project in a page of 100, adds supplementary semantic searches for topics such as architecture decisions, and presents them grouped by category with full content. It suits onboarding to a project or reviewing captured decisions, conventions and learnings.
Two other modes branch off the same command. Passing a search query without any flag runs a compact peek mode with two parallel searches, one broad and one aimed at decision memories, deduplicated and shown as one-line results with type, date and a short ID. Passing --all-projects searches every project for the user, groups results by project and then by category, and marks the current project. When nothing matches, it says so plainly.
6 steps, taken from the step headings in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit b7ad69a. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

Mem0 Project Tour loads about 1.6k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 63 tokens; SKILL.md has 540 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from mem0ai/mem0 at commit b7ad69a, republished under its Apache-2.0 licence (© mem0ai). 540 words, ~1,640 tokens.

When invoked with --all-projects (e.g., /mem0-tour --all-projects or
/mem0-tour --all-projects auth middleware), search across ALL projects:

Call get_memories to fetch all memories for this project:
filters={"AND": [{"user_id": "<active_user_id>"}, {"app_id": "<active_project_id>"}]}, page_size=100
In parallel, run these search_memories calls to get relevance-ranked results for key topics:
query="architecture decisions design choices", filters={"AND": [{"user_id": "<id>"}, {"app_id": "<pid>"}]}, top_k=10, rerank=truequery="bugs errors failures anti-patterns", filters={"AND": [{"user_id": "<id>"}, {"app_id": "<pid>"}]}, top_k=10, rerank=truequery="project setup tooling conventions preferences", filters={"AND": [{"user_id": "<id>"}, {"app_id": "<pid>"}]}, top_k=10, rerank=trueDo NOT filter by metadata.type in these calls. The platform auto-assigns categories — filtering on metadata.type misses memories that were auto-categorized but don't have an explicit metadata.type.
Merge all results by memory ID (deduplicate). For each memory, determine its group using this priority:

Run `npx skills add mem0ai/mem0 --skill mem0-tour -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (integrations/opencode-plugin/opencode-skills/mem0-tour in mem0ai/mem0) into .claude/skills/mem0-tour in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add mem0ai/mem0 --skill mem0-tour -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (integrations/opencode-plugin/opencode-skills/mem0-tour in mem0ai/mem0) into .agents/skills/mem0-tour in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add mem0ai/mem0 --skill mem0-tour -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/mem0-tour, .gemini/skills/mem0-tour, .github/skills/mem0-tour and .opencode/skills/mem0-tour in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Mem0 Project Tour is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: The mem0 plugin with its get_memories and search_memories tools.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Mem0 Project Tour is published under the Apache-2.0 licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 1.6k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 6.6k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
