openloomi-hooksOpenLoomi × Claude Code hooks installer. An agent skill from melandlabs/openloomi.
Openloomi Hooks is an agent skill from melandlabs/openloomi. OpenLoomi × Claude Code hooks installer. Use when the user wants Claude Code's lifecycle (SessionStart, UserPromptSubmit, PreToolUse, PostToolUse, Stop, SubagentStart, SubagentStop, Notification) to mirror onto the Loomi Pet, or wants to auto-archive every Stop into OpenLoomi memory. Triggers: install hooks, /openloomi:hooks, hooks install, hooks uninstall, hooks status, mirror claude on pet, auto-archive stop.
Its SKILL.md is about 530 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.
It sits in Agent Workflows, covering Hooks and plugins. The repository describes itself as: OpenLoomi is an open-source AI coworker. It connects your work tools, understands what you’re working on, and tells you what needs your attention, why it matters, and what to do… The licence is Apache-2.0.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 2aca101. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves these tools, so the agent can use them without asking each time:
Bash(node ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/loomi-bridge.mjs *)From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
nodeFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Openloomi Hooks loads about 525 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 108 tokens; SKILL.md has 167 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from melandlabs/openloomi at commit 2aca101, republished under its Apache-2.0 licence (© melandlabs). 167 words, ~525 tokens.
.claude/skills/openloomi-hooks/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder). The plugin ships a hook bundle in hooks/hooks.json but never installs it
automatically. Users must explicitly run one of:
/openloomi:hooks install — merge the bundle into ~/.claude/settings.json/openloomi:hooks uninstall — strip only the plugin's block (other
plugins' hooks are preserved)/openloomi:hooks status — report whether the bundle is currently activeUnder the hood this calls:
node ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/loomi-bridge.mjs install-hooks
node ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/loomi-bridge.mjs uninstall-hooks
node ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/loomi-bridge.mjs hooks-statusinstall-hooks is merge-no-overwrite: only adds the plugin's block
under hooks.__openloomi_claude_plugin_hooks__. Existing hooks for
other plugins are not touched.uninstall-hooks removes only the plugin-marked block; rerunning it
after the first time reports removed: false, never deletes anything
else's hooks.writeFile to a temp file, then rename).{continue: true, _openloomi: {archive: "skipped", reason: ...}}
so they can never block Claude Code's response stream. This plugin can mirror Claude Code's lifecycle onto your Loomi Pet. To enable this, run
/openloomi:hooks install. To disable, run/openloomi:hooks uninstall. The plugin never modifies your~/.claude/settings.jsonwithout explicit consent.

Openloomi Hooks fits situations like: the user wants Claude Codes lifecycle (SessionStart; userPromptSubmit; notification) to mirror onto the Loomi Pet; wants to auto-archive every Stop into OpenLoomi memory.
Run `npx skills add melandlabs/openloomi --skill openloomi-hooks -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (plugins/claude/skills/openloomi-hooks in melandlabs/openloomi) into .claude/skills/openloomi-hooks in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add melandlabs/openloomi --skill openloomi-hooks -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (plugins/claude/skills/openloomi-hooks in melandlabs/openloomi) into .agents/skills/openloomi-hooks in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add melandlabs/openloomi --skill openloomi-hooks -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/openloomi-hooks, .gemini/skills/openloomi-hooks, .github/skills/openloomi-hooks and .opencode/skills/openloomi-hooks in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Openloomi Hooks needs the command-line tools its instructions call (node). Its frontmatter pre-approves these tools: Bash(node ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/loomi-bridge.mjs *).
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Openloomi Hooks is published under the Apache-2.0 licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 525 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 2.1k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
