At a glance

Quickly assemble a temporary AI agent team for a task. An agent skill from MaxMiksa/Auto-Company.

  • Works in 3 steps: Analyze the Task and Select Members → Create an Agent Team → Coordinate and Consolidate
  • Frontend & Design work in your project
  • SKILL.md covers Task, Available Agents, Execution Steps and Notes
  • Instructions only: no scripts, shell commands, URLs or credentials in SKILL.md

What it does

Team is an agent skill from MaxMiksa/Auto-Company. Quickly assemble a temporary AI agent team for a task. Automatically select the most suitable members from .claude/agents/.

Its SKILL.md is about 1.3k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.

It sits in Frontend & Design. The repository describes itself as: An auto-company works for 24/7 on your own PC - Windows/Linux/macOS. The licence is MIT.

When your agent uses it

Workflow steps

  1. Analyze the Task and Select Members
  2. Create an Agent Team
  3. Coordinate and Consolidate

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit c2c4eda. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.

From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

    No URLs in SKILL.md.

From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

Context cost

Team loads about 1.3k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 32 tokens; SKILL.md has 618 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Always · name and description, kept in context so the agent knows when to use it
~32
When it runs · the whole SKILL.md, loaded when a task matches
~1.3k

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Execution Steps

1. Analyze the Task and Select Members

Select the 2-5 most relevant agents for the nature of the task. Selection principles:

  • Select only those needed: More people is not always better; match the task's needs precisely
  • Consider the collaboration chain: If the task spans design through development, ensure the key roles along that chain are represented
  • Avoid redundancy: Do not select overlapping roles together

Briefly explain to the founder whom you selected and why, then immediately start assembling the team.

2. Create an Agent Team

Use the Agent Teams feature to assemble the temporary team:

  • Create a team with a short, task-based team_name (English, kebab-case)
  • Create a specific task for each member (TaskCreate), with enough context in the task description
  • Use the Task tool to spawn each teammate with subagent_type set to general-purpose; inject the full content of the corresponding agent file into the prompt as its role definition
  • When spawning a teammate, state in the prompt: its role definition, the task to complete, the cycle's runtime Language instruction, and that output documents belong under docs/<role>/

For frontend work, name one selected member as design owner without expanding the team just for a title. The owner and implementer must read .claude/skills/frontend-design.md. Pass the user task, agreed visual direction, key component decisions and acceptance states with the implementation handoff; the owner checks the implemented screens, not only a written design.

For a dedicated frontend finishing cycle, the design owner, implementer and verifier also use .claude/skills/frontend-polish/SKILL.md. Hand off the current product's screenshots and known functional behavior, the identity to retain, concrete defects to fix and the interface version already reviewed. Share only materials within the permitted project workspace. Complete and record the pass once for that version; later targeted reviews do not restart a full redesign.

3. Coordinate and Consolidate
  • Coordinate the members' work as team lead
  • Collect their outputs and consolidate them into a unified conclusion or proposal
  • If there are disagreements, present each position for the founder to decide
  • Clean up team resources after completion

Notes

  • Follow the runtime product Language instruction for user-facing communication and documents throughout the current product, including pauses and restarts. A requested language change applies to the next product. If no product language is assigned, follow explicit human language instructions or the user's language. Keep technical terms in English. The language of this skill's source does not set the output language
  • Leave language preference changes to the human-operated settings interface; do not edit saved language configuration or the current product's language state
  • Store each member's output documents under docs/<role>/ as agreed
  • The team is temporary and dissolves when the task is complete
  • The founder is the final decision-maker; agents provide advice but do not replace that decision-making authority

Can I use Team in Cursor, Gemini CLI or GitHub Copilot?

Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add MaxMiksa/Auto-Company --skill team -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/team, .gemini/skills/team, .github/skills/team and .opencode/skills/team in your project.

What does Team need to run?

SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Team is instructions for the agent only.

Does Team access the network?

SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.

Is Team safe to install?
