blog-draftGuides a blog post from idea to draft in stages: research notes from your sources, brainstorming and clarifying questions, then outlining and versioned drafting.
This skill runs a step-by-step process for writing a blog post from a topic and optional resources. It starts by creating a dated project folder under blog-posts/ with a resources/ subfolder, then turns each URL, file or web-search result into its own Markdown summary of key points. The agent presents the research, suggests angles and key points, points out gaps, and asks about the main takeaway, any emphasis, the target length and anything to cut.
You can also give the audience and tone, and the agent must pause for your approval at the marked steps before moving on. Later stages cover outlining and iterative drafting with version control, and a request to update an existing post skips ahead and starts from the current draft files. The instructions are written in Vietnamese.
3 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 556af8d. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are markdown).
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Blog Post Drafter loads about 2.2k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 62 tokens; SKILL.md has 1,298 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from luongnv89/claude-howto at commit 556af8d, republished under its MIT licence (© luongnv89). 1,298 words, ~2,179 tokens.
