Interface Design for Dashboards and Apps
holaboss-ai/holaOS
Pushes an agent past generic defaults when designing dashboards, admin panels, SaaS apps and tools, with attention to structure, type, navigation and how data is shown.
Runs a repeatable UX review of one screen against the Designing Interfaces pattern language and LobeHub's ux checklists, using static, visual and dynamic layers.

ux-auditRuns a repeatable UX review of one screen against the Designing Interfaces pattern language and LobeHub's ux checklists, using static, visual and dynamic layers.
A UX audit covers one surface per run, because a full-app sweep is too much for a single pass, and the review is repeated per page as the product grows. The benchmark combines the pattern language from the book Designing Interfaces, which describes what a good interface is made of, with the ux skill's checklists for how a flow should behave.
The audit answers which patterns the surface uses and how well, and where the experience is weak, with each gap tied to a checklist item. Three layers catch different problems: a static layer reads the code for missing empty, error and retry states and absent patterns; a visual layer uses screenshots for hierarchy, spacing, contrast, truncation, responsive breakpoints and dark or light themes; and a dynamic layer runs an automated user journey with performance checks.
Each layer has its own procedure file, and you run the layers the surface needs. Recurring gaps feed back as new items in the ux checklists, and the finished audit becomes a worked-example reference; the folder already holds example audits for surfaces such as chat, home, onboarding and profile.

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

UX Surface Audit loads about 4.9k tokens when it runs, and up to ~89k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 72 tokens; SKILL.md has 2,535 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 2,535 words (~4,915 tokens).

Runs a repeatable UX review of one screen against the Designing Interfaces pattern language and LobeHub's ux checklists, using static, visual and dynamic layers. The benchmark combines the pattern language from the book Designing Interfaces, which describes what a good interface is made of, with the ux skill's checklists for how a flow should behave.
UX Surface Audit fits situations like: reviewing one built screen against a pattern language before release; checking a page for missing empty, error and retry states in the code; capturing screenshots to judge hierarchy, spacing and responsive behavior; re-auditing a page after the product around it has grown.
Run `npx skills add lobehub/lobehub --skill ux-audit -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (.agents/skills/ux-audit in lobehub/lobehub) into .claude/skills/ux-audit in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add lobehub/lobehub --skill ux-audit -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (.agents/skills/ux-audit in lobehub/lobehub) into .agents/skills/ux-audit in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add lobehub/lobehub --skill ux-audit -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/ux-audit, .gemini/skills/ux-audit, .github/skills/ux-audit and .opencode/skills/ux-audit in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: UX Surface Audit is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: A checkout of the LobeHub repository; A rendered build of the surface for the visual and dynamic layers.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
UX Surface Audit has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 4.9k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 20k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 84k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
