docs-changelogWrites bilingual English and Chinese product changelog pages for docs/changelog, with date-based file names, frontmatter rules and a factual, user-first tone.
The skill is for changelog pages under docs/changelog and explicitly not for GitHub Release notes, which belong to a separate version-release skill. Files use date-based names: a YYYY-MM-DD-topic.mdx file for English and a matching .zh-CN.mdx file for Chinese, and the pair must describe the same facts in the same order. Each file carries frontmatter with a title, a one-sentence description and feature-oriented tags, and the agent must also load the design voice file and the i18n skill.
The recommended structure is an H1 title, an opening paragraph of two to four sentences on user-visible impact, one to three capability sections and an improvements and fixes list. Writing rules keep claims factual and tied to shipped changes, lead with user value, prefer narrative over bullet dumps, avoid marketing exaggeration and localize naturally instead of translating sentence by sentence. Length runs from three to five short paragraphs for a small update up to six to ten for a large one, and the workflow starts by collecting facts from PRs, commits and issues and grouping them by user workflow.
3 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 35d442e. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are markdown).
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Docs Changelog Writer loads about 948 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 28 tokens; SKILL.md has 394 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 394 words (~948 tokens).

Docs Changelog Writer fits situations like: writing a website changelog entry for a new release; producing matching English and Chinese changelog files; turning merged PRs and commits into a user-facing narrative.
Run `npx skills add lobehub/lobehub --skill docs-changelog -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (.agents/skills/docs-changelog in lobehub/lobehub) into .claude/skills/docs-changelog in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add lobehub/lobehub --skill docs-changelog -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (.agents/skills/docs-changelog in lobehub/lobehub) into .agents/skills/docs-changelog in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add lobehub/lobehub --skill docs-changelog -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/docs-changelog, .gemini/skills/docs-changelog, .github/skills/docs-changelog and .opencode/skills/docs-changelog in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Docs Changelog Writer is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: A docs site with a docs/changelog folder of MDX files.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Docs Changelog Writer has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 948 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3.8k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
