cliExplains how the LobeHub command line tool is built and organized, with its command groups, architecture and per-area reference notes for adding or changing commands.
This guide covers developing the LobeHub CLI, published as @lobehub/cli and built with Commander.js and TypeScript. The package lives in apps/cli with its entry at src/index.ts, builds with tsup, runs on Node.js or Bun, and ships three binary names, lh, lobe and lobehub, that point to the same program.
An architecture tree explains how the entry file hands off to a program file that registers every command. The command table lists groups for authentication through an OIDC device code flow or an API key, gateway connection, device management, status and doctor checks, agents and agent groups, Agent Signal, running other agent CLIs such as Claude Code and Codex, goals, projects, tasks and threads.
Reference files go deeper on the agent, conversation, generate, knowledge, memory, models and providers, search configuration, and skills and plugins commands. It is aimed at contributors adding or changing commands rather than at day-to-day use of the tool.
3 steps, taken from the step headings in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 1863542. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
bunbunxFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md. Its commands use bunx, which can reach the network depending on how they are called.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
LobeHub CLI Development Guide loads about 4.2k tokens when it runs, and up to ~18k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 22 tokens; SKILL.md has 921 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check noted patterns worth knowing about, such as sudo or a known installer.
configured (check `OIDC_*` env vars in `.env`)Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 921 words (~4,220 tokens).

slopus/happy
Traces how an action moves through your code and draws it as a compact ASCII tree: functions called, payload types, state changes and components that re-render.
neovateai/neovate-code
Walks through adding a message handler to NodeBridge in Neovate Code, from the implementation and its types to an optional test entry and a run with Bun.
lobehub/lobehub
Builds single-file interactive HTML prototypes rendered with the real LobeHub UI components and written as production-style React, so they can later be split into files.
lobehub/lobehub
Verifies a delivery end to end by driving the real product on a CLI, web, desktop or iOS Simulator surface, capturing evidence and publishing a round with the lh CLI.

Audits stale Git worktrees and branches with a bundled script, classifies each one, and deletes only after you approve the exact candidates.
lobehub/lobehub
Maintains LobeHub's model-backed alint rule set: writing rules, removing false positives against real code, deciding warn versus error and tracking token cost.
lobehub/lobehub
Guides building LobeHub builtin agent tools, from the manifest and execution runtime to executors, chat UI renders and registry wiring.
lobehub/lobehub
Explains how LobeHub client code fetches data through services, SWR store hooks and cache keys, and when to avoid useEffect fetching or duplicated state.

LobeHub CLI Development Guide fits situations like: adding a new subcommand to the LobeHub CLI; finding where a CLI command is registered and implemented; understanding how the login, device or agent commands are structured.
Run `npx skills add lobehub/lobehub --skill cli -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (.agents/skills/cli in lobehub/lobehub) into .claude/skills/cli in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add lobehub/lobehub --skill cli -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (.agents/skills/cli in lobehub/lobehub) into .agents/skills/cli in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add lobehub/lobehub --skill cli -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/cli, .gemini/skills/cli, .github/skills/cli and .opencode/skills/cli in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, LobeHub CLI Development Guide needs the command-line tools its instructions call (bun and bunx). Our summary lists: A checkout of the LobeHub repository with the apps/cli package.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found notes only (mentions a .env file), nothing it rates as a warning. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
LobeHub CLI Development Guide has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 4.2k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 17k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 13k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
