ljg-roundtableHosts a structured roundtable debate on one topic with 3 to 5 real people, an ASCII structure diagram each round, user-controlled pacing and a saved org-mode transcript.
Triggered by words like roundtable or debate, the skill makes the agent a neutral host. It picks 3 to 5 real people, historical or contemporary and never fictional, and gives each a name, MBTI type, one-line stance and the reason for inviting them. Guests should have positions that clash, ideally authors of classic work on the topic, with at least one outsider. The host opens with a definition question about the topic's core concept, and every speech uses one format: the person's name, an action tag (state, question, add, rebut, revise or synthesize) and a one-line summary.
Each round has three parts. Speakers respond directly to what came before, then the host names the core dispute, draws an ASCII diagram such as a 2x2 matrix, spectrum, causal loop or tree that shows how positions are structured, and poses a deeper follow-up question. You steer with four commands: continue, stop, dig deeper into the current section, or bring in a new person. On stop, the host gives an overall summary, a full knowledge-network ASCII diagram and a list of open questions.
The whole discussion is then saved verbatim as an org file in the ~/Context folder under a timestamped name, and the path is reported. The host takes no side, pursues one dispute per round and pushes past polite agreement, while guests stay faithful to the real thinking of the person they play. The agent first reads references/original-prompt.org, which holds the original design.
4 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 9e75497. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are org).
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Roundtable Debate loads about 529 tokens when it runs, and up to ~2.5k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 59 tokens; SKILL.md has 88 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from lijigang/ljg-skills at commit 9e75497, republished under its MIT licence (© lijigang). 88 words, ~529 tokens.

SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Roundtable Debate is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: A writable ~/Context folder for the saved org transcript.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.

About 529 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 2.1k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 1.9k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
