respin-releaseReplace an unshipped KeeForge candidate after a fix on an existing release branch.
Respin Release is an agent skill from KeeForge/KeeForge. Replace an unshipped KeeForge candidate after a fix on an existing release branch. Keep the marketing version, advance the global build number, rebuild all three channels, repeat gates, and restart soak. Use for a respin or another RC of the same version; use prepare-release for a new marketing version and ship-release for production publication.
Its SKILL.md is about 910 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 2 other files (for example `agents/openai.yaml`).
It sits in Mobile. It works with iOS. The repository describes itself as: KeePass-compatible password manager for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The licence is GPL-3.0.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit b04a461. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Respin Release loads about 914 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 91 tokens; SKILL.md has 347 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from KeeForge/KeeForge at commit b04a461, republished under its GPL-3.0 licence (© KeeForge). 347 words, ~914 tokens.

Confirm the release branch and candidate manifest, and verify that v{version} does not exist.
A fix to a shipped version needs prepare-release.
Use when a fix must land on a live release branch. Every respin produces a new build and restarts the soak clock.
The fix goes on the release branch first — that is where it is needed. Contributor fixes come
in as PRs targeting release/{major}.{minor} and are gated by pr-tests.yml and the ruleset.
Never amend or force-push an existing release commit; the fix is always a new commit. Push the fix and merge it back promptly using merge-back guidance, then return to the release branch.
Run the App Store Connect build-number preflight again for this respin; never reuse the observation
from the prior candidate. Then run build-number selection's repository-floor command and apply build-number selection's comparison and edit
rules. Set repoBuild to exactly the verified xcodeCloudNextBuild on
all four targets: KeeForge, KeeForgeAutoFill, KeeForgeMac, and KeeForgeMacAutoFill.
Never reset it; MARKETING_VERSION does not change. Carry both preflight values and repoBuild
into the manifest after RC tag and manifest initializes it, then rebuild iOS, MAS, and direct artifacts from the new
RC commit.
If the fix warrants a user-visible changelog line, add it to the version's section in
CHANGELOG.md (not ## Unreleased — this version is no longer unreleased on this branch).
Before committing changed release copy or rendering, repeat the affected
release-content preview
reviews. Reuse the previous copy approval and screenshot confirmation when that content is unchanged.
Run local KDBX gates (regenerate + KDBX gate), then RC tag and manifest with the new build number, then candidate gates and artifact verification and beta distribution.
Both KDBX gates run again for this build. They are not inherited from the previous candidate.
Return to soak guidance with the clock reset to this build's distribution timestamp. Prior builds' soak time does not carry over.
Merge the candidate bookkeeping back using merge-back guidance without waiting for soak or shipping.

SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Respin Release is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.

Respin Release is published under the GPL-3.0 licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 914 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3.7k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
