updateUpdates the enhanced Telegram plugin for Claude Code from its GitHub repository: compares file hashes, shows recent commits, asks first, then runs the installer.
This skill brings the installed enhanced Telegram plugin for Claude Code up to date. It locates the newest plugin version in Claude Code's cache, hashes its `server.ts`, reads the cached update-check file, pulls the latest repository checkout into `/tmp` and compares the hashes. If they match, it reports that the plugin is already current and stops.
Otherwise it lists the recent commits and asks for your confirmation before changing anything. After you agree, it runs the repository's `install.sh`, which copies `server.ts` and the skills into the cache directory, keeps the official `package.json`, and installs the supervisor, the daemon wrapper and the Agentic Mode hook. You then restart with a new Claude Code session or, for the daemon, with `launchctl bootout` and `bootstrap`. The update-check cache is cleared so the statusline indicator disappears.
8 steps, taken from the step headings in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 688e8fc. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
gitbashbunFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md. Its commands use git, which can reach the network depending on how they are called.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Telegram Plugin Updater loads about 764 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 56 tokens; SKILL.md has 196 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

After user confirms, run the installer from the checkout. TELEGRAM_SUPERCHARGED_DIR=/tmp/claude-telegram-supercharged bash /tmp/claude-telegram-supercharged/install.shThen restart: a new Claude Code session, or for the daemon launchctl bootout + launchctl bootstrap (a soft restart doesn't reload the supervisor).
