contextHands the current Claude Code session's context to a Telegram bot session by writing a short summary to the bot's memory file and sending it as a Telegram message.
The skill summarizes the conversation so far into a structured handoff covering what you were working on, key decisions, current state, files changed and action items for the bot, kept under 2000 characters because the bot has limited context. It asks what you want to transfer rather than dumping everything: saying teleport everything summarizes the whole conversation, while teleport this sends only the latest topic.
The summary is appended, never overwritten, to the bot's memory.md under ~/.claude/channels/telegram/data with a timestamp, so it survives restarts. It is also sent as a direct Telegram message through the bot, using the bot token read from the telegram .env file or the environment, with special Markdown characters escaped. The skill then confirms to you that both the memory write and the message happened.
4 steps, taken from the step headings in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 688e8fc. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
curlFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
Hosts in commands or code, which the agent is likely to contact:
api.telegram.orgFrom URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names these keys or tokens, usually read from environment variables:
TELEGRAM_BOT_TOKENBOT_TOKENFrom names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Telegram Context Transfer loads about 764 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 68 tokens; SKILL.md has 244 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check noted patterns worth knowing about, such as sudo or a known installer.

Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Summarize the current conversation into a structured context handoff. Include:
Keep it concise — under 2000 characters. The bot has limited context.
Append the context to the bot's memory file so it persists across restarts:
MEMORY_FILE="$HOME/.claude/channels/telegram/data/memory.md"Append a new section with timestamp:
## YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM — Context Transfer
**Chat 305120844**: [summary here]IMPORTANT: Do not overwrite the file — APPEND to it. Read existing content first, then write old + new.
Send the context as a direct message to the user's Telegram chat so the bot sees it immediately in the current session:
BOT_TOKEN=$(grep TELEGRAM_BOT_TOKEN "$HOME/.claude/channels/telegram/.env" 2>/dev/null | cut -d= -f2 | tr -d '"' | tr -d "'")
# If not in .env, check environment

Hands the current Claude Code session's context to a Telegram bot session by writing a short summary to the bot's memory file and sending it as a Telegram message. Telegram Context Transfer fits situations like: continuing a terminal Claude Code task from the Telegram bot; sending the current task's state and next steps to your phone; persisting a session summary into the bot's memory.
Run `npx skills add k1p1l0/claude-telegram-supercharged --skill context -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/context in k1p1l0/claude-telegram-supercharged) into .claude/skills/context in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add k1p1l0/claude-telegram-supercharged --skill context -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/context in k1p1l0/claude-telegram-supercharged) into .agents/skills/context in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add k1p1l0/claude-telegram-supercharged --skill context -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/context, .gemini/skills/context, .github/skills/context and .opencode/skills/context in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Telegram Context Transfer needs the command-line tools its instructions call (curl) and credentials named TELEGRAM_BOT_TOKEN and BOT_TOKEN. Our summary lists: A configured Telegram bot with TELEGRAM_BOT_TOKEN set; curl.
SKILL.md names 1 domain. In commands or code: api.telegram.org; the agent is likely to contact it when it follows the instructions. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found notes only (mentions a .env file), nothing it rates as a warning. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Telegram Context Transfer is published under the Apache-2.0 licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 764 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3.1k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
Skills that share tags, products or a category with Telegram Context Transfer: Claude To Im (op7418/Claude-to-IM-skill, 2.9k stars), Traul Message Search (dandaka/traul, 113 stars), Conversation History (dashhuang/openclaw-chat-history-import, 144 stars) and Tlive (y49/tlive, 215 stars).
