At a glance

Bundles one or more existing skills and the integrations they need into a single named, installable capability.

  • Works in 5 steps: Clarify the outcome the capability… → Ensure each skill it needs exists under… → Write the manifest to… → …
  • Packaging a set of skills and their integrations into one capability
  • SKILL.md covers Workflow and Manifest format
  • Instructions only: no scripts, shell commands, URLs or credentials in SKILL.md

What it does

This skill is a workflow for assembling a capability: a bundle that references existing skills and declares the external integrations they depend on, then installs the bundle as one named unit. It has you confirm the outcome the capability should deliver, check that every skill it needs already exists under a skills folder (creating any missing one first), and write a manifest that references skills rather than copying them.

Once the manifest is written it calls an install tool with the capability's id and reports the result back, including telling you which service to connect if an integration comes back needing a connection.

When your agent uses it

  • Packaging a set of skills and their integrations into one capability
  • Installing a new capability into the workspace

Example prompts

  • “Create a capability that bundles the invoicing and email skills.”
  • “Install the capability I just defined and tell me what needs connecting.”

Requirements

  • Existing skills already present in the workspace

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 4684714. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are yaml).

From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

    No URLs in SKILL.md.

From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

Context cost

Capability Creator loads about 385 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 34 tokens; SKILL.md has 127 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

SKILL.md

Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 127 words (~385 tokens).

“A capability bundles one or more skills and the integrations they need into one named, installable unit. Use this when the user wants to create a capability.”
