technical-basicBuilds a composite trading signal from three groups of classic indicators (trend, mean reversion, volume) voting long, short or flat, in plain pandas for OHLCV data.
This skill combines three groups of classic technical indicators into one signal engine: trend from fast and slow EMAs plus ADX, mean reversion from Bollinger Bands plus RSI, and volume confirmation from OBV and a volume ratio. A three-way vote sets the position. It goes long when the trend is up, RSI is not overbought and OBV is rising, short for the mirror image, and flat when the signals disagree.
Everything is plain pandas and works on any OHLCV data. RSI and ADX use Wilder exponential smoothing rather than a rolling mean, and OBV is a cumulative sum of signed volume. All parameters have defaults, such as EMA periods of 12 and 26, ADX and RSI periods of 14, a Bollinger window of 20 and RSI bounds of 30 and 70, and each can be overridden when the engine is created. An example signal engine is included, and signals are 1, -1 or 0.

Core Technical Indicator Signals loads about 492 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 58 tokens; SKILL.md has 183 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Core Technical Indicator Signals needs Python for the scripts in its folder and the command-line tools its instructions call (pip). Our summary lists: Python with `pandas`, `numpy` and `requests`.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Its commands use pip, which can reach the network depending on how they are called. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
