What it does

Catalyst Calendar is an agent skill from hh-health-AI/healthcare-equity. This skill should be used when the user asks to "build the catalyst calendar", "what readouts/PDUFAs/AdComs are coming", "upcoming binary events for my universe", "refresh the catalyst list", or wants event-driven idea generation from clinical and regulatory calendars.

Its SKILL.md is about 660 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 2 other files, including reference files (for example `references/prompts.md`).

It sits in Backend & APIs, covering Event-driven systems, Brainstorming and Clinical and healthcare research. The repository describes itself as: Synthesis engine for buy-side healthcare equity research. The licence is MIT.

When your agent uses it

  • Asks to build the catalyst calendar
  • What readouts/PDUFAs/AdComs are coming
  • Upcoming binary events for my universe
  • Refresh the catalyst list

Example prompts

  • “build the catalyst calendar”
  • “what readouts/PDUFAs/AdComs are coming”
  • “upcoming binary events for my universe”
  • “/catalyst-calendar”

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 6c7bda8. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.

From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

    No URLs in SKILL.md.

From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

Context cost

Catalyst Calendar loads about 664 tokens when it runs, and up to ~1.4k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 72 tokens; SKILL.md has 301 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Always · name and description, kept in context so the agent knows when to use it
~72
When it runs · the whole SKILL.md, loaded when a task matches
~664
With references · SKILL.md plus every file in references/, read only if the agent opens them
~1.4k

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Catalyst Calendar

Build and refresh the clinical/regulatory catalyst calendar for a coverage universe, ranked for event-driven work.

Workflow

  1. Take the universe (tickers or watchlist) and horizon (default 6 months). For each name, sweep the Clinical Trials connector for late-stage trials: phase, status, primary completion date, primary endpoints, enrollment; note recent date changes. Add regulatory events from web research: PDUFA dates, scheduled FDA advisory committees (FDA AdCom calendar), CRL/response timelines, EMA CHMP meetings, EPAR Annex II conditional-approval obligation deadlines (confirmatory-study SOBs and annual renewals — dated, tradable), pending PAS-clocked supplements (device changes, shelf-life), and material PI/label supplements (see adcom-label's label-delta workflow); and major conference windows where the names present. Date the windows with the empirical review-timeline base rates in ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/references/base-rates.md.
  2. Apply the SCR-02 prompt template (in ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/skills/catalyst-calendar/references/prompts.md): per catalyst — ticker, asset, event type · date window · base rate · prior data and success threshold · implied vs fundamental move · preliminary take — and close with the top 5 for deeper work.
  3. Use TECH-06 (same file) for programmatic CT.gov API queries when the connector's search needs supplementing; use TECH-02 to emit Bloomberg BQL/terminal navigation for the user to run where terminal data (implied moves, event IDs) is needed — generate syntax, do not fabricate its output.
  4. Merge in reimbursement catalysts from the cms-reimbursement plugin's rule-cycle calendar when installed, so the calendar covers clinical + FDA + CMS in one view.
  5. Date discipline: sponsor-guided timing ("mid-2027 data") and registry primary-completion dates are different claims — show both and flag divergence; slippage is signal (see ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/CLAUDE.md).
  6. Rank by (a) proximity, (b) binary severity (share-price leverage), (c) thesis relevance. Hand the top events to readout-handicap or adcom-label for deep work, and to healthcare-equity portfolio (PORT-02) when events cluster.
  7. End with an EVIDENCE BRIEF only for events analyzed in depth; the calendar itself is a dated table with sources.
