ppapProduction Part Approval Process (PPAP) — verify PPAP submission level, audit all 18 elements, check completeness for customer approval, prepare PSW.
Ppap is an agent skill from hashgraph-online/awesome-codex-plugins. Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) — verify PPAP submission level, audit all 18 elements, check completeness for customer approval, prepare PSW. Use when a supplier needs to submit parts for approval, when reviewing a PPAP package, or when determining which PPAP level is required. Covers AIAG PPAP 4th edition with Ford, BMW, VW, and Stellantis OEM-specific requirements.
Its SKILL.md is about 2.5k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 2 other files, including reference files (for example `references/18-elements-checklist.md`).
The repository describes itself as: A curated list of awesome OpenAI Codex / ChatGPT plugins, skills, and resources. The 1 Codex Marketplace. See live plugins at: https://hol.org/plugins/best-codex-plugins. The licence is MIT.
5 steps, taken from the step headings in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 78497e5. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Ppap loads about 2.5k tokens when it runs, and up to ~9.3k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 96 tokens; SKILL.md has 1,191 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from hashgraph-online/awesome-codex-plugins at commit 78497e5, republished under its MIT licence (© hashgraph-online). 1,191 words, ~2,489 tokens.

| Level | What must be submitted |
|---|---|
| 1 | Part Submission Warrant (PSW) only — no supporting documents unless requested |
| 2 | PSW + designated samples + limited supporting data |
| 3 | PSW + product samples + complete supporting data (default for new parts) |
| 4 | PSW + other requirements as defined by the customer |
| 5 | PSW + parts and complete supporting data — reviewed at the supplier's manufacturing location |
Default: Level 3 for new parts or significant changes. Always confirm with the customer before submitting.
PPAP re-submission is required for:
Production trial run minimum: Unless otherwise specified in writing by the authorised customer representative, the production trial run must consist of a minimum of 300 consecutive parts produced at the production rate, using production tooling, production process, production operators, and production tooling (AIAG PPAP 4th ed §4.0). This run generates the PPAP samples (Element 14), dimensional results (Element 9), and capability data (Element 11). A run shorter than 300 consecutive parts requires explicit written customer authorisation before PSW can be signed.
Verify each element against the level requirement. For Level 3 (default):
Element 1 — Design Records
Element 2 — Engineering Change Documents
Element 3 — Customer Engineering Approval
Element 4 — DFMEA
Element 5 — Process Flow Diagram
Element 6 — PFMEA
Element 7 — Control Plan
Element 8 — Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
Element 9 — Dimensional Results
Element 10 — Material Performance Test Results
Element 11 — Initial Process Studies (Statistical)
Element 12 — Qualified Laboratory Documentation
Element 13 — Appearance Approval Report (AAR)
Element 14 — Sample Production Parts
Element 15 — Master Sample
Element 16 — Checking Aids
Element 17 — Customer-Specific Requirements
Element 18 — Part Submission Warrant (PSW)

Before submitting PPAP:
At the start of each use, ask the user:
"How would you like to receive the output? A — Structured Markdown (formatted tables and sections, ready to copy) B — Plain tables (simplified structure for Excel or Word) C — Narrative report (flowing text for a formal document or email)
Default: A."
Adapt all output sections to the chosen format. If the platform or session context already defines a format preference, skip this question.

SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Ppap is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Ppap is published under the MIT licence (declared in SKILL.md). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 2.5k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 10k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 6.8k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
